You know,” she says, “it would be so much easier to just blame you for all of it.” “I could say the same for you,” he mumbles. She ignores him and continues. “But I know that part of it was my fault too. You weren’t the only one hurting me. I was hurting myself, too. I mean, you weren’t really the one that convinced me that you didn’t love me. You showed me that you did. But I got it into my head that you were faking.” “Now I’m not saying you’re completely not at fault,” she says, “far from it actually. But I’m responsible too.” “After all, it takes two people to build a relationship, and both of them contribute when it all comes crashing down.
