The first time Jang-Mi ever displayed the fact that she could do ballet, she was showing the choreographer.
She was facing the mirror, taking deep breathes as the instructor sat in the corner. She'd been doing ballet since she was four, it was one of her favourite dances. When she'd auditioned for BigHit, she'd left mention that she knew it, but she hadn't shown them.
Now she was going to.
The boys didn't know, and she didn't think they needed to until she got word from her instructor.
She wasn't actually performing a piece, more like displaying different things she was capable of.
She showed off different ways of walking, the elegancy within her movements. Footwork was one of the most important things.
Her spins were well executed as well, and she gave herself the time she needed to perform them.
She did small hops, deciding she'd practice her leaps more before showing them.
And of course, she had to finish of her display with her favourite end move.
She remained in the position for a few moments, drinking in the feeling. She loved the adrenaline she got from ballet, and she hadn't practiced since before this and God she'd missed it.
Her thoughts and rest were interrupted by clapping. Her head shot up, and she saw that not only her instructor was clapping, but the boys were stood by the door raining down applause.
They must've come in during her performance and she was too immersed to notice.
"You did so well!" Jimin yelled to her when he saw her looking at them. He and Hoseok rushed over.
"That was beautiful." Hoseok said, gripping her arm. She smiled.
"You never told us you knew ballet." Taehyung pouted.
Jang-Mi shook her head playfully. "I waited to show the instructor. You'd have found out eventually."
"Well, I'm happy we did."
