Jasper pov
I sighed as I waited for my sisters with Emmett and Edward.
" Come on you all!" Emmett bellowed up the stairs.
" We're coming!" Alice shouted. Soon her and Rose came down the stairs. Well Alice skipped. I shook my head at my triplet sister and we left.

When we arrived at school we all got our schedules then got to our classes. My first class I had alone. It was history.

The teacher told me to sit next to a girl with blond hair and golden eyes. She was quiet and didn't really talk during class at all. After a bit I passed a piece of paper to her.
I'm Jasper. What's your name? She looked at me then smiled and wrote down.
Melanie Grace but I go by Melanie or Mel. I smiled.
Nice to meet you Mel. She chuckled quietly then wrote something down.
You're new right?
Yeah. My siblings and I just moved here to live with our dad.
Ah. So you're the Chief's kids.
Yeah. How'd you know?
Gossip around here for the past bit has been all bout the Chief's kids comin. I looked shocked. Just then the teacher spoke.
" Alright. So we'll be doing projects and your partners are sitting next to you. You can choose any topic you want in history. I'm going to give you a few minutes to discuss the topic amongst yourselves." I turned to look at Melanie when I noticed something. She had tensed slightly. As quickly as I noticed it it was gone. She looked at me.
" So what do you want to do?" She asked. I immediately picked up on her southern accent. I smiled.
" Ladies choice." She chuckled lightly at my words then spoke.
" How about the civil war?"
" Sure. Sounds fun." We talked some more and exchanged phone numbers so we could keep in touch.

Before lunch I met up with my siblings and we went to sit at a table with some other kids we had met. We were talking when Alice spoke.
" Who are they?" I looked to see Melanie with three other kids. Angela grinned and Jessica spoke.
" They're the Cullens. Dr. and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids. Or some of them are. They moved down here from Alaska like a couple years ago." A guy with blond hair and golden eyes came in with a girl with long dark brown hair and golden eyes.
" So the muscular guy is Ryan and the girl with him is Emma." Melanie came in with a guy with pitch black hair.
" Okay. The girl is Melanie and the guy is Alexander. They're twins and are the only two actually related to Dr. Cullen and his wife. Mrs. Cullen apparently couldn't have kids after Melanie and her brother so they adopted. Alex is kinda weird. He's super hyper and perky all the time." Just then a girl with dark brown hair and golden eyes came in. Edward spoke.
" Whose she?"
"Isabella Cullen. She's the twin sister of Ryan and the loner of the bunch, though that's not saying much. She was adopted when Alex and Melanie were like five. She's really close to Melanie. She and Ryan were separated young but Dr. and Mrs. Cullen searched for Ryan and found him when Melanie and Alex were eight. Then they adopted him. To be honest they're kinda weird. They just don't like socializing minus maybe Melanie and Ryan."
" Jess! They're not weird." Angela said. I looked back at the table and met Melanie's eyes. She smiled then one of her siblings said something and she glared at him.

Melanie pov
I was sitting with the others at our table at lunch when Bella walked up. She looked ready to kill someone.
" Okay. I know we don't but I want to frickin do something about little miss gossip." I chuckled at her reaction.
" Bella has a point. We should do something about her." Emma said. I smiled wryly and then looked at the table. I saw Jasper looking my way. I smiled then heard Alex speak.
" Someone has it bad." I glared at him sharply. He held his hands up in defense. I noticed Bella watching one of the new boys. I nudged her gently and she looked at me. Then she looked away. This was going to get interesting.
