There once was a young girl, who to all who met her was happy and friendly. Once she got to know you she'd do almost anything for people. Even if that meant going over at the drop of a hat to help pack. If you were in trouble she would cancel plans and help you. If you needed to talk she was always there.

But... this young girl deep inside felt very alone. She didn't have any friends from school as she did not go to a public school. She did not have friends from sports as she did not play sports. She did not have friends from band....those people never wanted to really talk to her...

At church, she used to be more outgoing and happy but has started to just get on her phone instead of talking to people because they don't want to talk to her. She hopes her new church will change that....but that is not what this story is about.

This story is about the one friend this young girl found...that lead her to a galaxy far far away. This friend was just over a month older but was 5 inches shorter. The young girl loved her new friend and would spend hours traveling the galaxy with her through stories they made.

The young girl, when elsewhere like church, surrounded by people, would pull out her phone to see if her friend had replied to their story. It always made her smile when the friend did...even when the story took a turn for the worst....

The young girl grew close to her friend over about 3 years. Her friend made her fall behind on school which lead to some depression but the girl still loved her only friend. The girl always cherished the time spent face to face with her friend even if they just talked about their stories.

After 3 years of exploring the galaxy....her friend was leaving. Not forever, but...for a while. The girl was so proud of her friend for growing up and moving off to face the world. The girl helped her friend pack, said goodbye and her friend was off... The girl knew her friend would do great and be happy but...she wished for a better goodbye. For the two girls did not get to cry while saying goodbye.....

The girl just prayed for her friend....and counting down the minutes of the next time they would see each other.

This is just something I wrote tonight that came to me. I don't know why I'm posting it. Guess to show that I am still writing a little...... no one has to comment anything. this was just random...
