You were heartbroken. He said he wouldn't go for her, but now you know it was a lie. You thought you could trust him. But he's just like everyone else in your life; A liar.
Your friend knew of your feelings and put a hand on your shoulder. She felt the same about him actually. You willed yourself to not cry, and started to clap to get them to stop kissing. But that hurt you even more.
He looked at you, but you turned away and walked out. When Sofia came to you later that night, meeting up in your spot, you told her you were moving. Going to New York to pursue your dreams, she gave you a bright smile, which made your heart flutter. As you were about to leave though, she did something unexpected, she pulled you close and kissed you softly, your mind shutting down, your heart racing and your body frozen. You barely have time to kiss her back before she pulls away.
"Give me a year... and I will find you," she tells you before kissing your cheek and walking away.
You had no idea what she meant by 'give her a year' but if that year end with a kiss from her, you would gladly wait.
