Alec's confession

Alec's POV

     I can't believe this! I can't believe she thinks that I would ever do that her. That phone call wasn't what she thought it was. My ex keeps calling and that's the only way I can get her to leave me alone. She hates being stood up so that's exactly what I was gonna do. I know it's a shitty thing to do but what am I supposed to do?! I called Shawn and asked what I should do.
     "I don't know man. It's like she's super into me one second and hating me the next. She's the one girl that's been able to make me feel like this. I get this feeling in the pit of my stomach when I see her go. It gets worse when she leaves like this." I'm such a girl right now!
     "Maybe you should talk to Camila and see what she thinks." I hear a rustling in the background and then Camilas voice sounds through the phone, squealing.
    "What?! Why so loud?" I ask covering my ears. I swear she busted my eardrums.
   "I think you love her! This is so exciting!" She squeals again and I hear Shawn chuckle in the background. Did I love Ridley? Is that why I keep chasing after her?
    "I think your right. What am I supposed to do though?!"
   "Tell her you idiot!" She yells at me. Damn she has a set of lungs!
   "How?! She's not even talking to me right now!"
   "I'll handle that. You just need to get these items. Get her favorite chocolate and a cute turtle stuffed animal." She loves turtles. Every time she sees one on tv or a stuffed animal she gets so excited. Some make think it's annoying but I think it's adorable.

Later the next day

     You know that feeling when you're so excited but also antsy because you that what you're about to do could break you but just as easily bring you so much happiness that you're on cloud nine? No? Just me then.
     Camila was on her way with Ridley. I decided to tell her at a place I know she'll love. There's this place in the woods that has a tiny clearing, so small it'll only fit me and Ridley. I decked it up a bit but it was so beautiful it didn't need much.
    I heard footsteps coming and then Camila gave me the signal, which the classic ca ca! Lame. I know. I stared in awe as Ridley walked into my line of sight. She makes anything look designer. She gives Camila the death glare once she sees me.

Ridleys POV

     Camila took me into the forest and led me somewhere she refuses tell me. We get to a path where trees arc over and white roses which are my favorite surround us. Something moves in the background and my eyes land on Alec. I turn to Camila and give her a glare as she gives me a sheepish smile. I turn to walk away but he stops me.
    "Wait Ridley please, I need to tell you something." His eyes hold a serious expression, compelling  me stay in place.
   "What you heard is not what you think. The girl I was talking to is my ex. I used to be involved in some dangerous stuff and she followed me on the night I broke up with her and got pictures of me. She started threatening to give them to the police unless I kept going out with her which is why I haven't been able to tell you this before." He takes my hands in his and stares into my eyes, his brown orbs keeping me under his spell.
    "Ridley, I've never met anyone like you. You're so beautiful, funny, you get me, and you're so smart. I've been trying to find one word to describe you and I finally did, perfect. You are perfect. Which is why I love you. I'm so happy I can finally ask this, will you be my girlfriend?!." My eyes tear up after his confession.
     "I love you too! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" I squeak out after a few minutes. I'm about to hug him when he stops me.
   "I wanted to give you something." He pulls out a blue velvet ring box. I start to freak out a little.
  "Don't freak out it's just a promise ring. I promise you that I really do love you and I will never do anything to hurt you." He opens the box to reveal a beautiful ring with an emerald in the middle.
"I can't take this. It looks really expensive!" He rolls his eyes and chuckles.
"I didn't tell you this because I thought it would change your opinion on me but my dads rich. He probably won't even give the purchase a second glance." I had no idea. Is this how he was able to afford my necklace? He slips it onto my ring finger, it really is beautiful. Tears of happiness slipped out of my eyes as he hugs me closely.
"Nothing could ever change my opinion of you." I try to reassure him but his hold secrecy. I understand if he doesn't want to tell me. I still haven't told him everything about my dad.
"You said that girl was blackmailing you. So why have you changed your mind about telling me?!"
"A friend of mine is getting the pictures from her phone."
"I don't know what I would do if something happened to you." I admit truthfully. He's been apart of my life for almost a year now. Camila squeals in the background and engulfs me in a tight hug.
"Is squealing all you know how to do?!" Alec jokes while covering his ears.
"Hey Ellison, shut the hell up!" She yells while she slaps him upside the head.
"Ow!" He rubs his head and frowns.
"Alright kids quit that fighting or you're both grounded!" I yell at them. Alec looks at me with a glint in his eyes.
"I like it when you're bossy!" He whispers with a smirk.
"Woah woah woah! Quit it! Innocent eyes are watching!" Camila says making us laugh.
"If you're so innocent then what's that on your neck?"
"And why'd you have a hard time walking when I picked you up from Shawn's?!" Her face turns bright red.
"S-shut up!" She stutters our and walks away. Alec grabs my hand and kisses it before we walk back to the car with Camila.
