It's been a week since the cafe incident but neither the Alpha or the youngest vampire seemed to get the scent they sniffed in the cafe out of their head. The Alpha seemed to only think about the lily and cinnamon scent. Unique yet strong. It always seemed to call out to him. And the vampire struggled to get the scent of the blood out of his head. At first the whole apartment and the people living in it couldn't seem to get the scent and the mystery of the blood, out of their heads but the very next day everyone except the youngest vampire seemed to have forgotten about it. Jungkook had locked himself in his room, only venturing out when everyone was asleep or to eat.

The others were worried about their youngest member but what they didn't seem to understand was that, he wasn't just captivated by the scent of the blood but also by the girl as well, in ways that he himself hadn't realised yet. After 3 days, the maknae seemed to have finally gotten over whatever it was and was back to being normal, or as normal as he could get. The members just finished with their schedule and were heading home after a very busy and tiring day of work.

"Hyung, stop the car here please." The youngest member instructs their manager. The van comes to a stop,abruptly.

"Here? Why?" Manager asks the maknae.

"I just want to take a small walk before heading to the dorm." Jungkook explains.

"Are you sure? Do you want us to come along?" Yoongi asks.

"Yes, don't worry hyung. I'm fine, just need some fresh air." Jungkook explains.

"But-" Before Yoongi could finish his sentence Taehyung interrupts.

"Actually I need some fresh air as well. I'll get down here and take a walk with Jungkook. You guys head on home and we'll catch up." Taehyung says and the others nod, assured that the Alpha would take care of the youngest.

"Okay, we'll see the two of you later." Namjoon says nodding.

"We would join you guys but we are really tired and want to hit the bed. So don't take too long. Come home soon, okay?" Jin instructs the two youngest who nod.

"See you guys later." The two bid them farewell and the van pulls away.
Once the van turns down the lane the two boys turn to face each other.

"I'm not going to do something stupid hyung. I don't need a guard dog." Jungkook grumbles.

"Hey! That's offensive. I'm not a dog, I'm a wolf. I'm faster, stronger and better than a dog!" Taehyung complains, but the soft smile playing on his lips let's the maknae know that he didn't actually take any offense to his words.

"I know and you know what I meant. I know I've been a bit..." Jungkook trails off, wheels turning inside his head in search of the word.

"Closed off?" Taehyung helps him out.

"Yes closed off but I'm not stupid. I won't do anything that's idiotic. You know that. Just trust me on this. I want to be alone right now." Jungkook explains.

"I know. We don't mean any harm Jungkook. We are just worried. And we mean well and are maybe a tad bit overprotective of our youngest brother. It doesn't mean we don't trust you." Taehyung explains.

"I know. But I just want to take a walk by myself I'm not a kid." Jungkook whines, contrary to what he just said.

"Yeah that's why I'm not going to follow you. I'm a wolf not a dog." Taehyung smirks.

"Then why would you..?" Jungkook drags off when it finally clicks, and a smile makes its way onto his lips.

"I'm so stressed and some fresh air will do me some good. So I'm going to head off first alright?" Taehyung grins.
