A/N Hello, everyone and anyone reading this I hope you enjoy! It's on the house XD

It was November 4th, two weeks before Thanksgiving break. It was 4:30 pm and I was running through the small suburbs, past all the overly big houses and the annoying dogs that chase me, until I reached the second biggest house in the suburbs. This was my house and it stuck out like a sore thumb. It was a bright, I would say baby blue, but it was too dark to be baby blue. It was three stories, the highest floor was technically my room. "Sh*t! She's here... F*ck!" I sat across the street stalking my house. I was planning to get home before my mom did. "I'll just run to my room before she sees me! YEAH! That will work!" I assured myself. I knew that if could make it to my room before she saw me then she wouldn't bother me until dinner and then my dad would be there to save me. I ran through my driveway and slowly opened the front door that leads into the front room. Fifteen feet from the door were the stairs and to the right, before the stairs, was the kitchen. To the opposite side of the kitchen was the living room. "I gotta make a break for it." I ran past the kitchen and up the stairs.
"Hey, Jake! Jake! JAKE!!! I SWEAR IF I HAVE TO YELL ONE MORE TIME I'M GONNA BEAT THAT A**!" My mother screamed from the kitchen.
"Sh*t she's in the kitchen?" I whispered to myself. "Ok," I replied as I ran down the stairs. "What's wrong mama?" I asked innocently. She turned to me looking unamused.
"You got suspended again?" The mail was sprawled across the kitchen counter she was near. She picked up an envelope and shook it in my face. " One more of these and you're expelled!" I walked over to observe the paper she was shaking at me. " Does it look like I have money flying out of my a**?!" She gave me a slight push and I chuckled. "Boy, you're laughing but I'm not." My mom was trying not to smile.
"How'd ya get that?" I questioned.
"Your school called me and I had to get off work to go to the conference," she said while crossing her arms.
"Old man won't be mad tho. He'll be proud." I walked to the table in the center of the kitchen and sat down.
My mom sighed dramatically, walked over to me and slapped me at the back of my head. "Does your father go through hell to enroll you into new schools?" She sat down next to me and looked me in my eyes.
"No..." I looked down because I knew she's the one that basically goes to different schools and begs for them to let me in. Silence echoed throughout the room.
"What was it over?" she said putting her hands on her lap. I sat up and she interrupted me before I could start. "No look boy, you're not gonna start that fast-talking sh*t" She laughed and ruffled my hair. "Ok, go ahead baby." She sat up completely to show that I had her full attention.
"Weelllll... You know the boy I usually defend, right?" I said while waiting for her to sigh.
"What now?" She asked looking pissed. "Why can't they just leave that poor baby alone?" My mom brought her hands to her face.
"I wonder the same thing! He's so nice!" My mom nodded in agreement. "But anyway..." I said before I went into details about him. "His grandma died today during lunch and he was crying all day and them jerks kept messing with him and harassing him while laughing." I balled up my fist. Just thinking about it pissed me off! "I was at my limit so I snapped!" I slammed my fist on the table.
