Irony

Why was life like this?

The girl who hated pain went through Hell and back.

The boy who was lonely had a nagging feeling; the need for attention.

Why?

His kind actions were taken for granted, as always, with people not caring and continuing their lives, ungrateful of his deeds.

Her talent was hidden behind thick walls which she couldn't climb over, and thus they were never revealed.

He was being treated differently, even though they were all humans.

She felt unloved and uncared for.

The boy who wanted to enjoy life was binded by meaningless rules; why wasn't he allowed to find the meaning of life?

The pure hearted girl was poor, sad and unacknowledged, while the rotten, selfish ones were treated like royalty in their own homes.

Why?

Why was life so cruel to everyone?

The girl who did everything for her sibling was pushed down, as she needed to be a role model while her sibling was carefree and not giving her respect.

The boy who watched his entire world shatter couldn't do anything, as the 'leaders' of his country tore down everything.

Life was ironic.

Remember to be grateful for the life you are living now, as it could be worse...
