A light sets of knock came in Davis' home. But Mrs. Davis sharpen her senses as she became agile on how her son didn't come home early.
"Fuck please!" She stood up, terrified.
It seems that they're in the middle of a conversation with his husband. "Don't worry, it's not the cops!" Mr. Davis followed a trail of concern on his vigorously walking wife.
Innocent faces sprang up as the shaking mother of Jonathan opens the door.
"Where have you been?!" She asked loudly.
"I-I had to go to my friend's house." Jonathan merely managed to ignore her question.
"What?!!" Her mom almost throw a swear in shock.
"Have you been out of your mind? You went home late - " Mrs. Davis suddenly stop her riffling anger when she realized his friends was behind him listening.
"Well, talk to your father." She chocked.
She turned her warming-mother mode on and asks the kids to come inside. "Come in, come in."
The two went in with an awkward smiles.
"Well.... I'll agree." His father fake-acted that he thought deeply about his son's request. It was obvious that he is trying to look cool on the visitors.
"But! We will go fishing on Sunday." He smirked.
Jonathan rolled his eyes. It seemed he was set up by his dad. While he threw a shame on his self, Ken looked to be so interested.
"Wow. Fishing sure is fun. I never thought there's a lake nearby." Ken said.
Mr. Davis smiled at the boy's amusement. "Well. there's a river few meters back in the woods. It is pretty small one but the scene's what we're going for.
"An old father-and-son bonding." Allison lowered her head and rolled her eyes on the cheesy relationship Jonathan and his father had. Luckily, no one noticed it was sarcasm.
"Dad can we go now?" Jonathan asked.
"Aren't you going for a dinner?" He replied.
Jonathan stared at the two and watched Allison nodded sideways.
"Umm. We really have to go."
"Well. Stay safe then." His father winked.
"Wait!" Jonathan's mother went down from upstairs as hype as she was lately.
"Here. I packed something in case of emergency." She handed a stuffed back with load of supplies.
"Mom, it's just a sleep over." He declined.
"You should bring that Nathan. We might not be there to help you." His father interrupted.
Walking away defeated, the three went outside to start the car. As they all went in, Allison gives a brief observation on his family.
"Your parents are shitty over protective." She pokers.
Jonathan tried not to listen, he just started the car and drove in.
"Aren't you going to take your seat belt?" He asked.
"Why? Are you a fucking fast driver?" She replied.
Few moments came and they finally arrived at Ken's house. It was a mansion, filled roses and vines. The sense of it was old, but it looks like it was forced to look old.
"Are we really going in?" Allison told the two while they get closer to the black gate.
"Why?" Ken was puzzled.
"If this a prank, I will fucking kill you." Allison replied.
The two didn't listen. They just went outside to ring the bell.
"Mum, I'm going in." Ken asked.
The gates automatically opens without a help needed from a person. Allison was dumbfounded at the moment.
"Let's go in." Ken offered.
"Wait! Aren't you getting in the car?" Allison hyped but Ken's actions answered her.
"Drive this Jonathan. I am going to walk." She quickly run inside like an excited Chihuahua.
"Hunny. How's your day?" An old lady welcomed them with a kiss on their cheeks.
"She's old." Allison thought in the back of her head.
"A bit hassle at the start Mum. Well, these are my friends. We'll spend the night here." He sighed his exhaustion out of his words.
"Oh, I see. Did you already had Dinner? There are still left in the table." She offered.
The three went in with delight, answering her question with a hungered faces.
"The food's fucking great." Allison commended their feast as they hang out on the balcony.
"Thanks." He smiled.
"Is that your grand mother?" Jonathan asked out of the blue.
"Fuck, that was what I am about to ask." Allison snapped.
Ken laughed. He was already prepping his self that the two would ask about it.
"Errr. Yeah, she's my grandmother. But I used to call her Mum. Because I felt that she is my Mum."
Allison didn't get his riddled answer unlike Jonathan who sensed the sadness in his voice. Allison grabbed for more explanation, while Jonathan face-palmed.
"What do you mean? I don't get it."
"Well... Dare to listen a long story?" Ken opened.
