I'll Give Up ( JinHwi )

Nineteen

Jinyoung walk down fast out of the building, tugging Daehwi by his small wrist. The forming bruises on the others skin is least that matters to Jinyoung at the moment.

Daehwi tried to pull back his arms, stamping down his foot to stop himself from getting yank. He'll surely gonna punch Woojin for lying to him saying no one from the maknae line will go except him but there's him! And out of three of them, it has to be him! He's not ready for this, not now, never.

"What are you doing?!" He said scratching the bigger hand of the other but Jinyoung just keeps on walking. "I said let go!" Daehwi repeated this time louder earning the attention of the people around and probably that knows them from the screen. This isn't good. "Jinyoung let go me you're causing trouble." But just like from the start, Jinyoung refused to talk until they have reached the parking lot where Jinyoung's car is located.

"Get in." Jinyoung said after he opened the door of the seat besides the driver. The crowds are going bigger, taking pictures of them.

Daehwi glared at Jinyoung, still trying to remove the vice grip on his wrist. "Let go of me Jinyoung." He said voice going dangerously low.

Jinyoung stared at him with blank expression. "Get in Daehwi." He repeated, slightly pulling the younger inside his car but Daehwi refuses, keeping his foot on cemented ground.

"Don't tell me what to do." He glared. "Now again, let go."

Jinyoung gritted his teeth. "Just get in Daehwi!" He snarl as he hit the roof of the car just few inches away from Daehwi. The younger's eyes widen, staring at his hyung in almost fear. "Please..." He added and the plea on the older's eyes makes Daehwi silently follow him. They'll probably found many articles about this on top searches the next day because of the amount of people taking pictures around them but they honestly don't care, they're too anxious thinking about what would happen.

Jinyoung drive in silent, glancing at the boy besides him every now and then. No one knows how much Jinyoung just wanted to stop the car and hug him, to smell that strawberry scented hair and feel that warm arms around his neck.

Daehwi on the other hand was having his own dilemma. He knows where this is going, and he only have two choices, reject him or have his heart broken again. He's not yet to find all the pieces and he's here again, about to go back from the start on collecting his shattered heart. He knows, Woojin would tell him how Jinyoung has finally sort his feelings, that every time he got drunk he would always cried and look for Daehwi until he falls asleep. Daehwi didn't know if he can ever afford another break down.

They have reached a deserted park where they would also hung out when things got crazy, it was their other secret place, but he's sure it's not anymore. He probably brought Jihoon here as well, he thought. The sunset can be watched here in twilight, that must be the reason why they would end their day offs here but it's the first time they see how ethereal the moon shines at night, Daehwi notice when he stepped out of the older's car.

"What do you want?" Daehwi ask breaking the silent, mustering an intimidating facade but Jinyoung just smile softly, slowly walking to his direction as he slowly steps back.

"You know, I never tell anyone about this place." he said stepping his right feet.

"I don't think that's important to me." a step backward.

"I want to tell Jihoon-hyung about this before but I wanted something that's only between us." a step forward.

Daehwi was taken a little by the older's words, making him unable to step back.
"J-Just drive me back to Woojin hyung."

"I thought it's just because you're my best friend but I'm too stupid to realize all my gestures back then." a step forward.

"Jinyoung, you're drunk." another step forward.

"It's stressing me out how I can't reach to you and when I saw the news of you collapsing on your fan signing, I think I'm going insane." another step forward and now he's only half foot away from Daehwi.

"I'm fine." Daehwi answered looking down for the fear that when he see the other's eyes, he's just gonna disregard all the walls he builds around his heart. He spent almost a year building those making sure that it's thicker, it's taller and more solid so none can hurt him again. But the moment the older speaks again and suddenly hug him in a tight hold, Daehwi let another tears fall. He misses him, so much.

"I miss you" Jinyoung said and the sincerity on his voice have Daehwi cling on the older's shirt for support. He's almost losing the grip on the last string of himself.

Daehwi squirm his way out of the older's embrace in futile attempt. "You're just drunk, Jinyoung hyung. When you wake up, you'll forget it. " He said calmly as the tears fall contiously.

"I wish I could Daehwi. I wish when I wake up tomorrow I'll forget you but drunk or sober, I know I'm always been looking for you. I'm always been in love-" but before he could finish, Daehwi has pushed him away.

"I'm doing great forgetting about you, It's not my problem if you couldn't do the same." said Daehwi with a furious glares. "If you're not driving me back, I'm leaving." He added as he brush his tears and starts walking on the direction where he thinks the nearest bus stop was located.

"Daehwi please. I'm sorry, I'm an asshole, I don't deserve you, I hurt you but please Daehwi." Jinyoung pleaded but Daehwi didn't stop from walking until he was yanked again. "Please Daehwi, don't give up on us." Jinyoung sob. "I love you and I know you still feel the same way." He added, holding the younger's hands on his own as if afraid that if he let it slip from his grasp, he'll lose him completely.

"I hate you hyung." Daehwi sniffles softly. "I hate how you are right, I still feel the same, I still love you. I hate myself that I'm still the same idiot who get weak at your words. I hate you." Daehwi broke down, hitting Jinyoung on the chest. "I truly hate you. I despise you. "

And Jinyoung couldn't count how many light punches he willingly received and the words that probably said in different languages all together.

"I know Daehwi, Hwi-ah, I'm asking for so much when I don't deserve it. I know you're afraid, you're unsure still but please give us a chance. I promise, I'll make it right this time. Believe me, I love you Daehwi."

It's much easier to let go, he's been holding on for a long period and the string was about to cut him. It's easier to let go but Daehwi chose to hold on again. He's an idiot he knows but this stupid heart of his couldn't do anything but believe the person who cause it's disaster. No matter what the consequences, he's ready to receive it.

"Please Hwi, gives us a chance."

So he does.

I'm sorry if this chapter disappoints you? I'm stress today and my insecurities are eating me up again. I'm so glad I have Seokjin and Daehwi to lift up my mood. I'm really just emotional today sorry. 😂💔
