Just a heads up before this chapter, I know Raynare is already dead but I never said that this would be accurate.

Sorry for the spoilers if you haven't seen it.

~~~~~~
When I arrived at the church I found just who I'd expected.
"Raynare." I said as I saw her standing at the alter.
"Ah, Y/N." She said and only now I noticed she wasn't alone...
"Y/N!" Irina shouted at me and I realised that this was the end of my facade.
"Hey Love." I said before sitting on one of the pews.
"We're in a life or death situation and all you say is Hey!" Xenovia shouted back.
"What do you want me to say?" I tapped on the pew infront of me before suddenly standing up. "Ah, did you lock the front door?!"
"We're fine thanks for asking!" Xenovia said sarcastically but I could see it slowly dawning on Irina what was happening.
"Hey Raynare, where's Mittelt and Kalawarner?" I walked towards the fallen angel who had a light spear formed in her hand.
She didn't answer and looked slightly sad.
That gave me all I needed to know.
"Oh sorry, how insensitive of me."
"W-why!" Irina stuttered as I saw tears forming in her eyes.
"What is it?" I said inoccently spinning on my heels to face the two angels.
"Why are you siding with her!" She screamed at me.
"Oh, no they sided with me." I chuckled and releasing my wings. "Ah, it feels good to do that."
I cracked my neck and gave my wings a good flap.
"W-what!" Irina exclaimed and Xenovia took this as an opportunity to run at me.
I created my light sword and slashed her holy weapon away with a thrust.
It threw her sword upwards and I tool the chance to kick her back at the pews. Where she didn't get back up.
"Sorry Xenovia, but this is my job." I said without a hint of sympathy in my voice. I turned towards the love of my life and hesitated. "I recommend you take her and leave, if you cross us again I will be forced to take more... drastic action."
Irina was shaking from head to toe, tears filling her eyes.
She seemed as conflicted right now as I was.
"Well, hurry up." I walked towards the back rooms of the church with Raynare in tow.
~~~~~~

Never going to be able to show myself at the school again.

So much for that.

I ran a hand threw my hair as I stared out of a window.

I knew that Irina would be back, and she wouldn't be alone next time.

Mittelt and Kalawarner have both been killed and my boss hasn't been heard from in ages.

Damn it.

Raynare seemed like she hadn't gotten out of that fight completely unharmed either.

"Tsk." I headed upstairs and stood at the alter. "Come forth, Magnar!"

I shouted and felt something appear in my hand.

I switched which hand I had held out and shouted again.

"Come forth, Frode"

I opened held both my hands up together and found the twin swords.

There were simular to holy swords except that these were a lot more useful.

I thought I'd best have these close by as going anywhere could lead to a fight.

I knew I could use light magic but it probably wouldn't be enough.

"I'm going home." I shouted to Raynare who was downstairs resting.

I didn't get a reply but set off again, hoping that it went okay.

I took a cloak to hide the fact I was carrying swords before running back to my house.

~~~~~~
When I got home, I found the door unlocked.
I mean it's obvious who it is.
"Hey honey I'm home." I shouted and I heard a panicked yelp from the bedroom.
I walked in and took a can of coke out of the fridge.
It could only be Irina here anyway, and I hope... well no, we will be able to sort something out.
I headed to the bedroom where I heard the voice before and found Irina with her sword drawn.
"Hey." I said casually as if I'd just gotten home from school.
"What do you want?" She seemed to have much more confidence than before.
I just walked in, knowing full well if she tried to attack me I'd be dead.
"Want a sip." I held my coke out to her, she didn't move a muscle. "I'm not going to fight you so loosen up."
"Huh." Was all that escaped her lips before I sat down on my bed.
"What are you doing here anyway? And where is Xenovia?"
"Rias and Co. are taking us in. They said they'll help take you down." She seemed to have calmed down a bit but she hasn't put her sword down.
"I'm assumed she would." I took my shoes off as we spoke. "Want something to eat, I know you like my cooking?"
"Will you stay on topic!" She raised her voice and caught me off guard.
"What is there to talk about?"
"The fact we are enemies now and you're sat there like we're best friends!" She had more tears in her eyes now than I'd ever seen. "I've never had a nightmare this bad before."
I smiled at her and walked towards her.
"Stay a-away!" She said unconvincingly.
I kept walking towards her and wrapped her in a hug. "I didn't want things to happen like this either, but we made our choices."
She whimpered and held me tightly.
"U-um..." She tried to say something but her words seemed to evade her.
"I love you too." I said jokingly but she didn't take it that way as she jumped up and kissed me on the lips.
She wrapped her legs around my waist and never seemed to want to let go.
I wasn't going to complain, I'd waited years to do this.
I love this girl with all my heart.
We weren't going to get much sleep tonight...
Next chapter will most likely be the last in this story. I have a few ideas for my next story so I'll deside which to do first.
Hope you are enjoying.
Oblivion, fading out.
