Chapter3: Hot Encounters
•Xander's POV•
We landed on L.A. since the house center of circle5 is here. We just arrived yesterday at night but my members have to attend school right away since it starts today and it turns out, Hawk already enrolled the boys before even asking me.
Though I'm still eighteen, I don't go to school anymore since I finished it when I was fifteen in our own training school. All witch hunters did actually. But unlike normal witch hunters, Eagles undergoes through a different kind of training. The kind of harder ones and we just attend college by choice but we still need to hunt while where at it. We only do outside jobs when there aren't much witch troubles. But we are still stuck hunting witches forever. And every time I think of it feel a little bad that we didn't live life like normal humans.
Yes.We, Witch hunters actually have our own training schools and starting at the age of four, we need to attend before officially becoming witch hunters by the age of fifteen. We only attend normal High schools when we see one with witches in it. Especially after the number of witches in schools increased. And on this case, the unlucky Tyler and Bryce are chosen to go since they're just sixteen. As for my other members, some went to Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Los Feliz, Santa Monica and a few more 'witch infested place' on the list gordon gave us. Others were assigned on road patrol and others were sent for the black witch hunt.
"Guys, we still haven't planned on the schedules but before the day ends, we will see how things go here in L.A." I told them.
"This sucks. I'm still tired from the trip and we're going to school already. I hate Gordon. I hate life. I hate school." Bryce, one of my strongest member grumbled. Tyler who is fast asleep in the back snored.
"Wake him up were almost there."
He slapped Tyler hard and the World War four began. They already did the third back in Portland.
Before we reached the school, my engine started coughing.
"What the..." I checked the fuel and it was empty. Great. Curse your car Wilkes.
"What?" Tyler asked.
"Gas."
"Yay! Lets skip school!"
"Great idea!"
I gave them the look. And they sighed muttering incoherent words.
"Look, a gas station!" Bryce perked. A gas station fifty meters from our spot was there.
I pushed the car alone and Tyler steered the wheel. We arrived and stopped the car in the station. Tyler did the pumping and I went in the convenient store for water. I'm hungry.
I noticed a sexy ride was parked outside. Our car is a shame here in L.A. What was Wilkes thinking?
Before I entered, a girl exited the convenient store.
She's... Stunningly hot. She's got a really bewitching aura and her face just looks perfect. Her long, toned legs were flawless and her deep black hair suited her perfectly. I all saw this at once just by one look because of my sharp eyes. I realized and felt sorry for her with all guys around harassing her with their eyes buy she doesn't seem to care.
I just rolled my eyes.
She might be attractive but she maybe like Amanda. I cringed at that thought. Well you can't blame me. Most attractive girls I knew were plastic and kind of bitchy.
These are the kind of girls I wanted to stay away from. I personally think girls like them isn't my kind of "attractive" and "lovely". I go for the mature, responsible and silent type.
