Chapter7: Series of Stalkers

•Xander's POV•

"Are you sure? I mean, I hope not. The Sapphire ability is pretty intense too," Tyler asked with furrowed brows. He looks like he was in deep thinking while he neared the cup of coffee to his mouth.

He was right. Nature force control is no joke. I have to find a weakness.

Flipping over the pages I stopped and suddenly realized a problem that hit me like a bus.

Diamonds have no weakness.

Nobles and medians all have weaknesses but diamonds are just... diamonds.

And am I even sure if it was really her last night?

Of course she is. She was the only diamond here.

But what if other diamonds planned to come here and mess up with my head?

Ugh! This is all so effing confusing!

"I am not too sure myself. But I'm not throwing this evidence and I'm gonna find more grounds to come up with the final assumption. But if she truly is, this is gonna be worse than I thought," I answered. I heard Bryce mutter something along the lines of 'sucks-to-be-you' and his twin slap him in the forehead earning one from him. I just rolled my eyes and finished my breakfast. The rest of them finished, we all got up and prepared for our own businesses.

Thirty minutes later, we were at school and I was currently sitting in the library reading 'the book'. I am in the area near the window and I can see the red convertible entering.

Again, they were greeted by the same scene in all their abnormal uniforms. I studied the surroundings and I was so sure they already have eighty-five percent of the school fawning over them and yet I haven't seen even one spell being cast by them. This is bad.

I glanced at the five and they we are all confidently strutting their way to wing B. I caught her glance a bit at my direction with a blank expression. She spotted me and looked away with a smug face.

I'm gonna find sooner what you are up to and I'm gonna do everything to eliminate you.

I heard kids nearby saying they wish they were as hot as them and I scoffed. The only thing hot about her is her head. I don't even see any reason why guys should like them and girls should admire them. I was busy wiping my glasses when a tall, brown haired boy with glasses bigger than mine bumped into me.

"I'm sorry, I was walking while reading and I didn't see where I was headed at," he explained with a nervous look. I just gave him a small smile and said,"It's okay." He sighed and sat to the chair in front of me. He seems to be a kid who often gets bullied and picked on. He wore the uniform primly and he was reading the Tale of Two Cities book. His hair was slightly curly and freckles spread on his nose and cheeks. He looked at me and to the kids around.

"You new here, right?"he asked. I gave him a nod and he closed his book.

"Then you must be curious about the tumult those five girls were bringing. They are also new and just three days in this school, they already are popular and they even got Hannah and her drones out of this school. It's so amazing how they managed to do that in just three whole days. But I don't see anything good about them that is worth loosing time for," He finished and got back to his book. Wow. I'm happy there are still people with intact sanity these days. People who should be admired. Not some five silly witches with messed up heads.

"When they first came here, did they receive the same welcome?" I asked. He answered without looking up from his book.

"Yeah. It's so funny how they replaced the queen bee with new more dangerous queen bee." His last statement slightly astounded me.
