"Good morning, bunny girl!" Shouted a voice near me.

It was Candace, my best friend since I remember having memory.

There she was... always looking so good... with that long red hair and those freckles on her skin that made her seem so sweet.

Candace was like my sister, practically all the time she was in my house it seemed that she lived here. She had slept in my house more than my sister.

"Bunny girl!?" I asked getting out of bed. Candace was looking at me, sitting on the floor next to my bed.

"Rabbits are always in their burrows, you are always your home"

"That's not true"

I went to the bathroom and I brushed my teeth. I didn't have to brush my brown hair how smooth it was so I just had to take off my glasses and put on my contacts.

I hated glasses, they were the worst, to bathe, to sleep ... always taking them off and then putting them on (sometimes forgetting where you left them before).

I was wearing blue torn jeans and a white jacket like my converse.

In the high school it was studied, it was not going to be linked, or so I told my sister, Adriana.

"and why didn't you go to Alexandre's party the other day?"

Ouch.

"Why didn't he invite me?"

Candace and I came down the stairs from my house to the garden.

I saw my bicycle, Adriana's and Candace's resting on the fence.

"Friday, I remember you've been in love with him for years, so you'll never know him"

"I'm not in love with him, I remind you that to be in love you have to know him and I just..." I said riding on my sister's bike, which was better than mine.

"You've only talked to him once, yes, I know, but... it was amazing, wasn't it?"

Amazing? It was disappointing.

"He only asked me if I knew where his class was because there was no one in the hallways and I was the only fool who had been waiting to speak to the teacher Mann."

Professor Mann was my favorite teacher, he was the physics teacher, the best in high school. His anecdotes were incredible.

I used to talk to him because I wanted to study physics at the University of California and he helped me achieve it. For me, physics was the only thing that amused me.

Candace laughed.

"That was two years ago, Candace, please!" I said I was looking at high school in Los Angeles.

"And what difference...?"

"It's been two years, Candace! Have you seen everything that's happened in two years? He almost got married and has eight children, God! "
