I closed Dean's eyes once father had managed to ease his pain. The sickening cracks of his bones breaking echoed within my mind and I knew I could never truly erase the sound. But upon cleaning his wounds Michael soon took away the bowl of bloody water, as father snapped his fingers changing his attire.
Once that was done I heard the snap of Dean's arms fixing themselves but I watched as he placed Dean's arms by his side. “He'll be okay Cas. I promise.”
I nodded weakly before turning to Gabriel as he whispered words to Sam.
But as I turned back to Dean wishing that he was awake I watched as the wounds faded into nothing; as though they had never been.
And then that's all that happened on the first day of being back in this place. The second day was watching as he stayed silent his bones snapping back in place-all but his back anyway and upon watching his hair turn a little lighter than before I soon thanked my father as large wings appeared. They were rather beautiful, what with white feathers with small flecks of silver and barely noticeable flecks of green. But upon his back snapping up I winced with Michael at the sound...
I wasn't foolish to know that the two were close but Michael had assured me that he loved Dean like a brother he could relate too, and for me that was enough...The third day nothing really happened. I couldn't read his mind like normal and I could only hear his faint heartbeats.
Slowly I slipped my hand upon his wrist feeling just how faint his pulse was. But I never moved away, it was weird how cold Dean truly was.Upon the fourth day I watched as Dean became nothing but a pale white, that resembled snow. Something I had asked Dean about once.
Upon the fifth and sixth day nothing else happened. Father had reassured us this was normal as his soul was twisting into his grace and we'd never know until he was awake.
I had feared that he wouldn't and that led me to being Michael's arms. And then came the seventh day his cheeks became fuller and the bags that once was faded into nothing. And then I heard his heartbeat quicken. So much so I feared that he would explode. But upon father telling us all to come to him I soon held my unnecessary breath as it fell silent. The only sound of breathing came from Sam and as I waited patiently for him to wake the fear still growing I breathed a sigh of relief as his eyes snapped open. The once green faded into a vibrant red before fading away once again...
