I reached a mountain far from Arendelle. At least they're all safe now. But I still completely ruined my coronation, showed everyone the real me, and, most importantly, broke my promise. I showed Anna. Right now I just needed a moment for myself. A moment to just let that all go.
"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight. Not a footprint to be seen. A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen. The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside. Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried," I sang. I had tried my best to suppress my life basically. My powers, emotions, contact with people.
"Don't let them in, don't let them see. Be the good girl you always have to be. Conceal, don't feel. Don't let them know. Well now they know," I sang, ripping my glove off my hand. These gloves weren't going to limit me from anything anymore.
"Let it go, let it go," I said, snowflakes sprinkling out of my hands. The way Jack did when I first met him. "Can't hold it back anymore." To my left, I built Olaf. The snowman I had built with Anna when we were kids. He reminded me of the bond I had with Anna. "Let it go, let it go," I sang, this time shooting ice crystals from my hands. They made swirling patterns above me. "Turn away and slam the door." The crystals instantly fell from the air as I made a slamming motion. "I don't care what they're going to say. Let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway." I took off my cape in a careless manner and it flew off into the world behind me.
I ran towards a cliff, happy about my decision. "It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small." I turned and face my life behind me. "And the fears that once controlled me, can't get to me at all." I turned back around and ran to the cliff. "It's time to see what I can do. To test the limits and break through." I shot ice to the cliff and a crystallized stairway appeared. "No right, no wrong, no rules for me. I'm free!" I stepped on the first step and it froze, taking on a form of solid ice.
"Let it go, let it go! I am one with the wind and sky!" I sang proudly while running up the stairs. Every step beneath me froze into solid ice. "Let it go, let it go! You'll never see me cry!" I ran to a clear space in the mountain. "Here I stand!" I planted my foot on the ground and solid ice formed around me in the shape of a snowflake. The foundation. "And here I'll stay! Let the storm rage on." I brought my hands up and a castle started forming around me. I decorated the walls with snowflakes and made everything even. I added a few touches to the original castle I had made with Jack.
"My power flurries through the air into the ground. My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around." Now comes the chandelier. "And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast." I stopped the decorating and snatched the crown from my head. I was not going to put up with my past anymore. "I'm never going back! The past is in the past!" I threw the crown on the ground and started my transformation. I let it all go.
"Let it go! Let it go!" I pulled my hair out of its bun and carelessly pulled back the loose strands of hair. I let my hands run through my hair and bring the braid to my shoulder. "And I'll rise like the break of dawn." I lifted my arms and an ice blue dress formed on top of my coronation dress. The dress had a slit on the right leg. My brown flats had changed into ice heels. "Let it go! Let it go!" Behind me, a cape had formed. But it wasn't the same as the last one. This one was a crystal blue color and had snowflake patterns scattered all around it. The new snow queen has arrived. "That perfect girl is gone!" I made my way out the balcony to admire the scenery and truly accept myself. "Here I stand in the light of day! Let the storm rage on!
The cold never bothered me anyway."
