Elsa's P.O.V.
"This has been one of the best day of my life!" Anna exclaimed, entering the castle. I giggled and walked in myself. Suddenly, I felt a breeze blow past my face. Jack.
I smiled and said to Anna, "Go on ahead. I'll catch up." She nodded and bounded down the hall to catch up with Kristoff. I turned around and saw Jack smiling. I kept my smile and pulled him into an embrace. "Thank you, Jack," I whispered.
"No need to thank me," he said, pulling away. "It was all you." I smiled. "I would like you to meet someone," he said, a smile curling on his lips. Although, this one seemed different from the other times he had smiled. I got a bit curious.
"Okay."
"Remember when I told you about my friend and how she left her sister to protect her?" He had told me that story a while back. But that story was what helped me live all of these years that I couldn't be with Anna. I nodded. "Well she stopped by yesterday to say hello and meet the new queen," he explained.
"Where is she?" I asked.
"Come with me," he said, opening the gates. Outside, a young woman stood silently. She looked a little older than me but not by much. She wore a beautiful fiery red dress with blue and violet ruffles at the bottom. "Elsa, this is Phoenix," he said. Phoenix. Where have I heard that name before? It brought me a sort of weird deja vú feeling but instantly went away.
"Elsa . . ." she whispered, barely audible. I could see she was on the verge of crying. I could also tell that she had no words. But why? How did she know who I was? I mean, Jack just said it, but he didn't introduce me to her.
"Elsa, it's time for you to know the truth," Jack said, sounding a bit solemn. I was really confused. Everything was just . . . so confusing! "Phoenix had a younger sister. She, too, had powers. Only, her sister was born with the power to control and manipulate ice and snow." I was speechless. But how? Why hadn't he ever told me? All of these years I thought I was the oldest. I thought that she was really brave for leaving her sister. But I never imagined that her sister was me. That was the least I expected. My own sister had inspired me and kept me afloat in all of those years in isolation.
"She's . . . you're my sister?" I asked, still awed. She nodded and smiled. I smiled back. "I never thought you would be my sister. Out of everyone, you're my sister. I can't believe it," I said, speechless.
"How did you know about me?" she asked, puzzled.
"Jack told me stories about you when I was younger. I always looked up to you," I explained, a little shy. She was my idol. I was talking to my idol. My sister I never even knew existed.
"You did?" she asked shyly. I guess she wasn't used to this either. I nodded and smiled. Right then, I saw a tear slowly roll down her cheek. "I never thought you knew me. I thought I was alone for all of these years," she said, looking down.
"Me too. But that's in the past. I'm glad I have my sister back," I said cheerfully. I finally reunited with my sister. I couldn't imagine how much she missed me. Twenty years without seeing her sister, me. That must have really been hard for her.
She walked to me, bursting into more tears, and hugged me. "I missed you so much," she whispered in my ear. My sister was hugging me. My sister who I didn't even think was mine. In a way, I missed her too.
"Thank you for being such a good sister, Phoenix." She giggled and pulled away.
"I am never leaving you again," she vowed. I smiled and pulled her into an embrace again.
"I love you, Phoenix," I said, tears slowly sliding down my cheeks now. I finally reunited with my sister. Fire and ice really wasn't such a bad combination.
"I love you too, Elsa."
