Elsa's P.O.V.
I had calmed down a little from my state of fear. Jack had snapped me out of the inner turmoil I had going on. I just walking downstairs when I heard a loud roar. I went a little faster down the steps and opened the doors. I saw that my protector, Marshmallow, was fighting with men, including the man Anna wanted to marry and two of the duke's guards. When I saw that one of the guards looked my way, I slammed the doors shut and backed away. I ran up the steps, hoping they hadn't seen me. Below I heard two men shuffling to catch up to me. "Up there!" I heard one man point out as I was about to reach the second floor.
"Come on!" another voice demanded. I heard the sound of their shoes on the ice and I could feel them getting closer. Jack wasn't around. He had said that he was meeting up with his friend. I tried staying calm.
When I got to the second floor, I turned around, only to see the two guards close behind me. The room took on a yellowish golden color. "No, please," I begged, holding my hands up in defense. All too soon, I heard the slicing sound of an arrow being shot. I gasped and blocked my face with my hands. Suddenly, the noise stopped. I breathed heavily, expecting the arrow to have bitten through my flesh. I slowly opened my eyes. In front of me was the arrow, caught between a thick block of ice. I was awed for a few seconds, but managed to pull myself together. "Stay away!" I warned them, shooting a blast of ice in their direction to keep them away from me. They avoided the shot in the end. I slowly brought my hands down, breathing heavily. I couldn't believe I was being attacked. They kept coming towards me. I shot ice at them, not giving in either. Fear was not going to get the best of me now.

I was racing with Phoenix when I suddenly felt a strong drop in the temperature. Apparently, so did Phoenix. Oh no. "Jack, it's snowing," she stated, hovering around.
"I have to go," I said, flying out of sight.
"Jack, wait!" she demanded. I heard a roar and she was soon hovering in front of me. "What is going on?"
"I can't explain now. Tell you later," I said hurriedly, flying around her.
"No! Make it stop snowing! This isn't a joke, Jack!" she said, frustrated, catching up to me.
"I'm not making it snow!" I finally said; my anger and anxiety going into my staff and causing it to glow. Her expression seemed to soften. "Just come with me," I said and flew away. Behind me, I felt Phoenix following me, silent.

I tried opening the balcony door but it was locked from the inside. I banged on the doors then peeked in. Right then, an arrow was shot in her direction. "Elsa!" I yelled, panicked. Phoenix seemed to perk up and flew so that she was next to me but didn't stand on the ice. When she saw her, she gasped. Partially because she was scared and nervous for her sister and partially because after 20 years, she finally saw her sister again.
A little more and the arrow would have pierced through her skin. The arrow was trapped between an ice wall she had created unconsciously. I wish I could go in and help her. I banged on the doors, hoping they would open. But they didn't budge.

"I'm not making it snow!" Jack said, sounding a little panicked. Well, if he wasn't, who was? I mean, the only person I could think of was Jack. No one else I knew had ice powers. But then came forth another thought. I remembered when I was younger. And I wasn't the only person in the house to have special powers. My sister, Elsa, also had.
I stayed silent and followed behind while Jack led me to . . . who knows where. We weren't going back to Arendelle. But she lived there. Instead, he led me to a giant castle made of ice.
He ran to the balcony doors and tried to open them. From the looks of it, they were shut tight. He looked in and yelled, "Elsa!" I looked in and gasped. An arrow was only centimeters from her head. Around her, guards were holding up bows and arrows. I wanted to burn down the door badly. Unfortunately, it was made of ice. If I melted this part, the entire castle would melt. I hovered next to Jack, helplessly watching as my sister suffered.

I finally got the two men separated. I looked at one, then the other one, then back again. I sent ice spikes in his direction, pinning him against the wall. One of the spikes was going directly to his neck, growing by the second. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the other guard was watching as I trapped his partner in ice. In one swift movement, I turned to face him and shot ice right beside him to catch him off guard. The bow was released from his grasp. I pulled my arm up, keeping the other one in place to keep the spike growing, and the guard was trapped between barriers of ice. As I pulled my arm down again, a wall of ice formed in front of me, pushing against the man. He quickly got up, for he had lost his balance and fell, and tries to fight against the wall. I put more tension in my hand and fingers and clenched my teeth. Eventually, the man gave up trying and the wall broke through the glass doors, leading to the balcony. The guard fell again, fear now ripping him apart. It felt good to be feared. It felt like I was finally in control over something. In this case, the men's lives.
Two ice pillars outside collapsed and broke the ledge of the balcony. Just a little more and the man would fall to his end. I frowned, determined to end his life.
Jack's P.O.V.
It looked a little distorted, but I could make out a man moving in closer to the balcony. In front of him was a thick wall of ice heading towards him. I stepped aside to avoid being squished. Phoenix disappeared into the shadows.
When the ice doors shattered, I immediately flew in. Another man was being held by spikes on the opposite side of the room, one going straight for his throat. In the middle, stood the now deadly Elsa, hatred and anger burning on her face. I had never seen her this mad before. Behind her, a man ran up the steps, followed by several other guards. "Queen Elsa! Don't be the monster they fear you are!" he said, snapping her out of her state of anger. She looked back at him, now with a more scared look, relaxing her tense arms. Something made me look to the side, causing me to almost sense what happened next. The guard being held by the spikes held up his bow, pointing it at Elsa. My eyes widened and almost automatically, I ran to interfere. But the man that had wanted to propose to Anna (I think that was her name. Yes, I was there) thought one step ahead and reaimed the arrow so that it pointed to the chandelier right above her. But something happened before this. Something that made me want to hurt him badly. Right before he reaimed, his eyes looked up in the direction of the chandelier. Unfortunately, the arrow didn't miss.
Phoenix's P.O.V.
I disappeared into the shadows so that no one would be able to see me. There, I saw Elsa, eyes burning with fury, arms tensed. The lives of these men were in her hands. I never expected to see her so mad before. She turned into the evil queen I used to read about when I was a kid. Suddenly, a tall, handsome man with auburn hair came running up to the room we were in. "Queen Elsa! Don't be the monster they fear you are!" she turned her head and slowly released the ice. All too soon, the same man ran to one of the guards who was holding up the bow, pointing it at Elsa. My heart stopped for a second. But was relieved when the man reaimed the bow. Only to be horrified yet again when the arrow sliced through the foundation of the chandelier, causing it to come crashing down.
Elsa's P.O.V.
"Queen Elsa! Don't be the monster they fear you are!" I heard a familiar voice call behind me. I turned my head around, only to see Prince Hans. I breathed heavily, scared of what I had become. His words sank in and I tried figuring out what had just happened. It was almost as if those actions weren't mine. All of a sudden, a sharp sound pierced the momentary silence. I looked up and gasped. The chandelier came crashing down above me. I bent down, regaining my balance and began running away from the chandelier. Close behind, I heard the shattering of ice. I felt my feet slipping on the ice under me. Suddenly, I totally lost balance and slipped, head first. The last thing I heard was a female voice call for me before everything went black.
