The time I was in the water seemed endless until I heard a faded voice, growing inside my head. The voice was hard to understand and I couldn't figure out what it was saying, but the closer I got to it, the more I wanted to know what it was that was trying to communicate with me. As I got closer I could make out what it was saying, "Hunter Reed, Hunter Reed, Hunter Reed," It was calling my name, over and over again. I got closer and closer to the voice, until I saw it. A crimson red stone encased in   silver, attached to a silver chain, hanging from a protruding rock formation, throbbing light every time it pronounced my name. It was getting harder to hold my breath as I got closer to the amulet, I had to resurface. I grabbed the stone and tried to swim up, as I did, the amulet shined a brilliant red and I was thrust into darkness. I awoke with a start in my bed, the amulet hanging around my neck. I swung my legs over the bedside and sat up with the amulet in my hand, trying to remember how I got to my bed after being under water. In fact, how am I now soaked right now?
