Soulmate au
You have a stripe of your soulmates hair color on your forearm and it changes color when your soulmate dyes their hair, and when you first talk to your soulmate, the stripe turns black.
Ship: I dunno like logicality or smthn.

Logan's POV:
Purple and brown. That's the shade of my stripe. I usually covered it up with foundation because I couldn't be bothered with icky complicated human emotions.

I am known as the stoic and composed guy. That is until I saw him. A boy around my age, with eyes like brown eyes deeper than the ocean, that you can see stars in, and his perfectly symmetrical jawline. He wore a blue polo shirt, beige khaki shorts, and a light gray cat hoodie wrapped loosely around his shoulders. He was wearing a, rather adorable, cat beanie, so I couldn't see his hair.

I couldn't stop the blush from growing, and couldn't help being flustered. No Logan, he has a soulmate, you do too, you can't be thinking these thoughts.

I quickly blocked the thoughts from my head and walked over to him, taking two steps on each square of sidewalk (Am I the only one who does this?) He saw me walking to him and started towards me, so we could meet in the middle. "Salutations, I am Logan." I say to him. "Hi! My name is Patton!" He says, giggling cutely.

I could feel my face heating up and hoped that he couldn't see the blush on my face. I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard him gasp very audibly.

I look at him, to see him staring at his arm. I can't help but glance at my own arm, seeing that my stripe has too turned to a black color.

"Welp, I guess we're soulmates then." I say, somewhat awkwardly. He chuckled and said, "Yeah, I guess so. Do you want to meet me for coffee at the store down the street tomorrow at 12?" He asked, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "That would be adequate." I say, trying to keep the nervousness out of my voice.

"The way you talk is adorable, I-I mean what?" He said, turning a deep crimson color. "Why, thank you, some people think that it is strange." I reply, turning almost as red.

We stare at each other for a few seconds before I get a notification on my phone. "Oops, apologies, I must leave, my roommate, Virgil, is expecting me home, so he knows that I haven't died." I say apologetically, "May I have your phone number?" I ask before leaving, "Sure!" He replies cheerily. We exchanged phone numbers and I said thank you before leaving to go home.

I unlocked the door to my shared house and saw Virgil anxiously waiting for me. "I thought you died! You're 30 seconds late! You're never late!" He said, very clearly distressed. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to worry you." I say, not able to keep the cheery tone out of my voice.

"What's got you in such a good mood?" He asks me, sensing my change of attitude. "Oh, nothing." I say, dragging out the "o". "Come on Logan, spill the beans." He demands. Instead of replying with words, I showed him the black stripe on my arm.

Virgil gasps dramatically. "You met your soulmate?! That's great! Now you don't have to third-wheel me and Roman anymore!" He says, uncharacteristically excited. "Oh please, like I'd want to be around two people who would just start randomly making out with zero warning." I reply snarkily. He brushes off my comment and starts bombarding me with questions like, "What's his name?" "How'd you meet?" Etc. etc. I was saved from his questions when my phone sounded. I checked it, only to find a message from Patton.

Hi, just making sure this number works, is this Logan?
~Patton

Hi, and yes, this is Logan.
-Logan

Unfortunately, Virgil had been reading over my shoulder, and the questions started all over again. "So his name is Patton? What does he look like? Is he cute? Is he nice?" He asked, question after question. "Yes, his name is Patton, he has deep brown eyes, he wears glasses not unlike my own, and he has freckles. He was wearing a blue polo shirt with khakis and a cat hoodie tied around his shoulders. He is rather adorable if I do say so myself, and he's super nice and bubbly, he's one of those people who would get pushed on purpose, but then apologize to the person who pushed him." I said, seemingly going off into another world.

"I bet you would like to see what's underneath those clothes." He said suggestively, wiggling his eyebrows. I decided to ignore him and go to my room to get to sleep for tomorrow.

It was 45 minutes before I was supposed to meet Patton at the coffee shop, and I could not decide what to wear. I asked Virgil but he wasn't much help, so we called Virgil's boyfriend, Roman, over. He arrived in less than five minutes and started looking through my closet. He decided on a professional-looking long-sleeved blue shirt, along with dark gray pants and a gray tie.

It was 11:55 when I head out to the coffee shop. I arrive right on time to see Patton already in a booth, wearing an outfit similar to the one he wore yesterday.

I remembered a pickup line that I had seen about a month ago and decided to try it out. I go up to Patton and nervously use my pickup line. "A-are you made o-of carbon, uranium, a-and tellurium, because you are really CUTe." I say, cursing myself for stuttering. "Awwww, that's so sweet, thank you Logan!" He says, blushing.

I pay for both of our coffees, much to the protest of Patton, And start conversation. "Tell me something about yourself." I say, he happily obliged. "I LOVE animals, but I can't be near cats, because I'm allergic, but animals are just so cute! What's your favorite animal?" He asked me. "Most likely owls, they are very sophisticated and mysterious." I say thoughtfully. "That's so cool!" He replies

We finish our coffee and I offer to walk him home, he said he'd be fine, but I insisted. We walked beside each other in comfortable silence before we reached his doorstep, where I gave him a peck on the lips, he looked shocked, and I started panicking, thinking I'd crossed a line. He sensed my panic and pulled me into a slower, softer kiss, in which I melted into. We eventually pulled apart and shyly stared at each other, both of our faces red. "I had fun, maybe we can do it again sometime?" He asks awkwardly. "Yeah, I had a good time too." I said, just as awkward. We waved our goodbye's and I started back to my house. Needless to say, I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face.

And if they went on more dates and eventually got married and adopted children together, who's to say?
