"Nothing can ever stop us"
The words lingered in my mind, each one dripping with curiosity. Through everything that we've been through, was he finally thinking of us being together? As one? But there was something about him that I didn't trust, I couldn't figure out his mind worked yet or if he still had some sort of plan for me? And not a good one. How do I know if he'll lie to me again, or if i'm just a player in his twisted game. I could never be too sure about him. I had to keep on my toes and keep my back against the wall.I know I saved him and he saved me but it was still sketchy. Something just didn't feel right...
We were still in eachother's arms, in a ball on the lumpy mattress. Everything was finally quiet. Something i hadn't heard in a while. silence...
M:" Jason?"
J:" Yeah?"
Our words were soft, and gentle as they tickled our ears. Our voices were husky as we started to grow tired.
M:" What are you thinking about?"
J:" Why do you wanna know?"
He hesitated to let me in. But we were both so calm and comfortable, it was the perfect time for me to get some information out of him.
M:" Because! I just want to know more about you, we are going to be spending more time together so we might aswell get to know eachother."
He was quiet and still before he answered me.
J:"...Okay. I'm thinking, where the hell do we go from here?"
M:" Pheonix?"
J:" I guess. I do need to get that money-"
M:" Jason?"
J:" Yeah?"
M:" How do I know I can trust you?"
He stiffened, shocked at the words that hung from my mouth. I lifted my chin to look into his eyes, his were still, harsh as they glared back at me.
J:" Why would you ask that?"
M:" Everything you've done to me, how do I know this isn't another game? You are all I have left and that scares the shit out of me. I need to know if you are who you say you are."
Nothing. He was speechless, he parted his lips to reply but only his breath slipped through. I watched him as he clenched his jaw. I rolled my eyes, looking away from him. I picked up his arms from around me and pushed them into his chest. I backed away from his body and rised to my feet. I looked down at him one last time. His eyes... His arms...
I started to walk away, making my way to the window. I stroked my hand along the window pain, and the coldness ran up my fingertips, refreshing my body. The moon was rising, glistening over rooftops of innocent peoples homes. Street lights dotted around in the distance. It made me think of my home. Innocence...
I was busy thinking about my old life, glaring out the window, when I suddenly felt hands stroke along my waist and stopping to carress my stomach. Goosebumps growing up my spine. I leant my head back to the right as Jason's warm breath tickled my neck. My body shifted as he pulled my back into his chest, resting his chin on my shoulder.
J:" You can trust me because I changed my mind."
M:" What do you mean?"
J:" Do you think I would really risk my life for you if I didn't want you by my side."
M:" I guess.."
I spun around, pressing my body against his, feeling his abs through my shirt. I carressed his neck with my hands, comforting him that I was here for him
