Chapter Four

BEN Drowned POV

After EJ had taken the girl he was after back to the mansion, I had decided to stay behind for a while longer, and lucky me, another girl had come by, and she seemed to be looking for the girl EJ had taken, as she had picked up the girls dropped phone.

I grabbed her and knocked her out, making sure she was fully unconscious before taking her back to the mansion, I took her up to EJ's operating room, thinking he might want to know this girl was poking around in that back alley.

Eyeless Jack's POV

That look of fear on her face should have made me feel better than I did, instead, I felt worse, with no idea why, "Hey," I say quietly, "I'm not going t-" When I was cut off by the door suddenly opening, and BEN dragging another girl in.

"Hey EJ, this girl was poking around in that alley where you got her," he gestures to the girl behind me, then turns the girl he has around so I can see her face. Apparently, the girl behind me can see her as well, because she let's out a startled gasp.

I turn back toward her, "Do you know her?" I ask in a stern voice, and she nods. She hasn't spoken since she got here, and I'm starting to assume she's mute. I decide to confirm my suspicions, "Do you ever talk?" I ask her, and she flinches away, I'm probably being too harsh on her.

I let out a soft sigh, "Do you talk?" I ask, as I force myself to sound a bit more gentle, and I hear BEN snicker behind me as she shakes her head no. I nod thoughtfully, "Thought so, BEN, you can leave now, I'll take care of these two."

Narrator's POV

You watch as BEN leaves the room, then glance Crystal with concerned eyes, she only seems knocked out, but your still concerned for your foster sister. Then, Eyeless Jack steps in front of you, "Do you know her?" He asks, causing you to flinch once more at the demonic quality of it, then you nod slightly, the monster turns toward your friend and pulls something out of his pocket.

At first, you can't see what it is, then you realize it was one of those surgical instruments, a scalpel. You struggle against your bonds as he goes behind you, then freeze as he says, "Stop struggling! Unless you want me to cut you!"

You stop struggling for a few moments, then feel the bonds on your wrists suddenly come loose. You immediately get up and bolt over to Crystal, wanting to get away from the beast as much as you wanted to make sure she was okay. You do a quick checkup on her, and see no wounds, then suddenly your pulled upright and turned around.

You suddenly find yourself looking into the black depths of the empty eye sockets that he has, "Tell me," He says quietly, "Did you ever speak?"

You nod, then make a gesture to your mouth, then to Crystal, trying to show that she's your translator. The beast nods as if he understood, "You talk through her now, I get it," he says quietly, and his voice sounds much gentler than it did before.

You find yourself relaxing in his grip, not feeling so threatened by him now, then you notice Crystal waking up, and you immediately crouch back down next to her. She slowly opens her eyes, it takes her a moment to notice you, but once she does, she breaks into a grin.

"Y/N! You're okay!!" She exclaims, giving you a hug, then she seems to notice your kidnapper behind you, "And who are you?" She asks, sounding a lot more fierce than she usually did.

"Like I told your friend, my name is Eyeless Jack, what's yours?" His voice has gotten back the demonic edge, causing you to flinch once more.

"Why should I tell you, you beast!" She growls, suddenly Crystal is torn away from you and pinned to the wall by Eyeless Jack.

"Call me that again, and you'll meet the devil himself, in the depths of hell..."
