Caroline's POV

I was sitting in my guest room looking down at the floor, I wished I could hear what Klaus was saying to his brother and sister but since I'm not longer a vampire I'm useless. I decided to sneak out and go to the bar, I left a note for Klaus so he wouldn't worry witch is what he's going to do once he figures out I left.

I reached this small bar and entered an could tell the room was filled with vampires I tried my hardest to keep my cool. I sat waiting for a bartender when a young man came to me " give me something strong." I said not looking at him "rough day?" He said "something like that." I quickly said as I grabbed the drink in front of me.

Klaus pov

I entered carolines room i looked around and started to panic but then I saw a note that said

Dear Klaus

I hope you don't mind being going to a bar tonight I just want to get things figured out in my head.

Caroline.

Klaus slowly read it he was stressed and worried because there were tons of vampires roaming the town at night so he quickly went to go find her.

I saw her sitting near two men that were hitting on her but she didn't pay attention I watched furiously as she got up and both of them fallowed her. I quickly followed them as well they were outside and rounded a corner "whats a pretty little face like yours doing here at night?" One of them said with a grin on his face "baby its not safe." The other one said I heard them pin caroline to the wall I quickly came behind them and had both of there necks in my graspe " well mates i suggest you never touch her again only if you want your fingers to be cut off?" I said and through them backwards and the started to run.

I looked at caroline she quickly hugged me, it took me by surprise but I grined down at her, she looked up at me smiled. I then lifted her up in a bridal style and vampe speeded away.

We reached her room and I put her down on the floor " thank you, I shouldn't of left." She said looking down " its okay caroline but I feard if I wasn't there what those men would do to you." I said not meeting her gaze
