Dumbledore's speech had just ended which means that the feast had begun. I was sitting in between Fred and George and across from Harry, Ron, and Seamus. I was so proud that my brother had gotten into Gryffindor with me. I knew he was brave but I honestly expected him to be in Hufflepuff. He is such a nice kid, of course I say that because I am his older sister. I myself was a hat stall. It took the sorting hat 20 minutes to decide between Slytherin and Gryffindor. I'm so happy I got into Gryffindor because then I wouldn't have gotten so close with my favorite gingers aka the Weasley family. I looked across the table at Harry Potter. I was so thankful that he and Ron had become friends, Ron usually just got picked on by his older brothers so it's nice to see him laughing with someone besides his mum. I looked up to the teachers table and into the eyes of Professor Dumbledore. He looked back to me and his eyes twinkled behind his half moon spectacles as he raised his goblet. I raised mine in return and smiled.

"Amara!" Fred said to me "quiddich tryouts are in a week!" He and George were two of the three beaters, I wanted to be the third last year but there was a seventh year beater still there, but this year nothing is in my way. Besides the older kids.

"I can't wait!" I told the twins, "do you think we'll be able to find a decent seeker?"

"I sure hope so! We haven't won against Slytherin in ages!" George said throwing his hands up dramatically.

"I know! Someone needs to put them in there place." Fred said glaring at the Slytherin table.

I smacked his arm as George said, "we only need a beater and a seeker so hopefully that will narrow the competition for you, Amara."

"I doubt it. If anything it will make it worse. People will be desperate for a spot." I mumbled.

As Fred was about to say something Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor Quiddich Captain and also the keeper showed up behind us.

"You two, I expect you to have taught Amara how to be an excellent beater. You three, being so close, would be brilliant." He said smirking a bit at me.

"Trust me Oliver, she doesn't need training. She's a natural." George said rubbing his arm where I 'mistakenly' hit him with the bludger after he called Pricy a git.

"Then I expect her to excel during tryouts." He said, "I'll see you then, Amara."

After he walked away I turned back to the twins. "Oh yeah, no pressure!" Oliver called from down the table at me.

"Oh gee thanks." I mumbled.

The feast was over by now so everyone got up. As we were walking to the Common Room Fred and George put there arms around my shoulders. "You'll be fine!" They said together.

We were to the fat lady portrait by now, "password?" She asked.

"Pig snout" I mumbled, already nervous for tryouts.

The portrait swung outward reveling the entrance to the Gryffindor common room. The three of us walked through and into the red and gold colored space. We sat on one of the three red couches in front of the fire and just talked.

At about 11 I felt completely exhausted, "I'm going to head up you guys." I said standing up. The twins stood up as well and hugged me, "goodnight!" I called receiving two good nights back.

I went to the third year dorms and found I once again was sharing a dorm with people I don't know. I have a lot of friends but they're all either not in my year, or guys.

I found my bed, which is the one closest to the window, and changed into my pajamas. I then crawled under the covers and pulled out my wand and a piece of folded parchment.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." I say and tap it with my wand revealing the Maurders Map, the twins and I took from Filtch's office in our first year. I held onto it over summer since I'm the most responsible one, apparently.

I opened it up to a section of Hogwarts that confused me. People would go to it, and there names would dissapere. I've been wanting to check it out, but I've always been to busy. I told the twins and they're stumped as well.

I heard the door handle jiggle and tapped the map with my wand, "mischief managed" I said.

As the door opened I placed the now plain parchment on my table next to a bottle of ink and a quill and pulled the covers over my shoulders.

The three girls entered and found their beds. After a lot of shuffling they finally went to sleep. It took me a little longer, but eventually I drifted off into darkness.
