"My mom's all freaked out about it and I don't know how long I'll manage if I disobey her, so," TJ says trailing off his words in front of his friends by her locker. "No staying with me the next few hours," she finishes me and the taller boy nods. "I'm sorry," he says.

"I'll forgive you, of you tell me what happend with you and Serpent daddy," she says and TJ shush her. "Let's just call him SD when we are in public, okay," he says more like a statement and Eden just nods. "I'll tell you at our spot after school," he says and Eden claps in excitement and TJ just rolls his eyes.

"Let's just go to history," he says walking and Eden follows him. "How's your sister by the way?" "Good, she has this huge solo opportunity in the music world. I support her, but I feel bad for The Pussycats," he says quiet enough for other people to not understand, but good enough for Eden to hear. "Do we know only?" "With Cheryl," he answers.

"Okay, so what happend?" Eden asks and TJ sighed while they sat at the bleachers. "So we were talking nonsense and when everyone went away, he sort of forced me to go with him. So we got to a bar, the Whyte Wyrm and I met Toni and Fangs, his friends. We got a little tipsy, playing never have I ever and sobered up playing truth or dare. And when I got my dare it was showing my hidden talent so…I sang-"

"What?! You never told me that you could sing, what did you sing?" His friend says interrupting him. "Panic! But It's Better If You Do."

"No way."

"Yes way."

"Did you dance?" She suddenly ask and he shrugs. "Yeah."

"Dirty," she adds and he looks down in embarrassment. "A little."

"Did SD like it?" "He says that it wasn't bad, but I saw him smirking all the time."

"These are really good signs. Anything else?"

"Not really, he brought me home, thank God that my mom didn't notice and yeah," he answers. "Well, we're making moves though, I'm so happy my son's finally trying to find love," he says hugging him so tight he can't breathe. "O- Oxygen," he chokes and his friend lets him go. "And you still say you're not the mom friend," he says sarcastically. "Only to you. Now come, before our moms are gonna freak out," she says and they stand up.

"Tyler Jordon McCoy," TJ hears his mom say and he mentally rolls his eyes while turning to his mom. "Sorry, I said three and I'm here fifteen minutes too late," he says trying his hardest not to sound sarcastic. "Were you with Eden?" She asks to him and he nods. "Okay, apology accepted. Do you know where Josie is?" She asks and he shrugs with a small no and makes his way to his room. Scrolling through Instagram, he gets inspired and gets out his notebook, seeing how full it was and smiles at it and takes a photo of the most decent writing he found.
