The Surprise (Jaya)

Kai's P. O. V.

"KAI!!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU!?!?" Ugh. That would be Jay. Seriously, does that guy even have a volume button??

"I'M IN HERE, JAY!" I shout.

"Would you two PLEASE be quiet?!" Lloyd says from another room. Before another word was spoken, Mr. Loudmouth bursts into my room, yelling my name.

"KAI!!! KAI!!!! I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!" Jay shouts again.

"What now?" I say, clearly annoyed. 

"Umm, well...I  -kinda- uh, well, I sort of-"

"Well, what!? Do you need my help or not!?" I cut him off. I don't know why he's so embarrassed all of a sudden.

Jay's P. O. V.

I don't know how Kai is going to take it, being the overprotective brother to Nya that he is. I need to tell him though- uh, that I'm going to, maybe, propose to Nya?

"Well, Kai, uh, you won't get mad at me, right?" I ask. 

"I don't know, will I?"  Yeah, he probably will. 

"Well, it's about Nya" I blurt out. 

"WHAT ABOUT HER!?"  Yep. He's mad. 

"I um, well, we've been dating for a while now. And I was going to, uh, propose to her?" I manage to say.

"Why didn't you just say that in the first place?" He asked. 

"Wait-you're not mad or anything??" I ask, surprised. Usually, he'd already have my hair on fire by now.

"Of course not, I'm glad you two are together." He tells me.  Oh. Well, that makes things a lot easier now.  "But what do you need me to help you with?" He asks. 

"Oh, yeah," I replied "I don't exactly know how I'm going to ask her though..."  

"Oh don't worry," Kai smirked "I have plenty of ideas"

A couple minutes later...
Jay's P. O. V. Still

"Are you sure this will work?" I ask Kai. 

"I'm pretty sure it will, but I can't promise you she'll say yes. It's her choice after all." Kai states. 

"Yeah I know that," I respond "but where is Nya?"

"Right here!" Nya replied "what's up?"  Kai smirked before answering.

"Jay has something to ask you" Then he left us without another word.

"What is it Jay?" She asked me. 

"Nya, I need to show you something," I tell her "follow me." 

Later...

"Jay, for the last time, where are we going?" Nya asks again. 

"You'll see. We're almost there" I reply. I lead her to a dark room and remove her blindfold.

"Jay?" 

"I'm right here Nya," I responded "let me get the lights."

Nya's P. O. V.

"Let me get the lights" Jay said.  Seconds later, hundreds of little warm white lights illuminate the entire room. Even the small table has little candles on it.

"Jay, this is amazing!" I tell him. "you did all of it?" 

"Kai gave me the idea, but yeah, I did decorate it." Jay replies.

"Wow, I don't even know what to say!" I exclaimed. 

"I have one more surprise for you." Jay added. "Stay here and close your eyes."

As soon as he says "okay", I look around, but nothing's different. Except for the huge smile on Jay's face.

"What's the surprise?" I ask him, and he immediately gets down on one knee in front of me.

"J-Jay? What, what are you doing?" I say.

"Nya, now that we've been together for a while now, I wanted to ask you one question." Jay says.

"W-what?"

"Will you marry me?"

I can only stand there, speechless. I'm excited yet shocked at the same time. Finally calming down, I answer him.

"Yes!"

Jay's P. O. V.

The second she told me, I practically jumped on top of her with a huge hug ready. I knew she would hug me back, which she did, but what I didn't expect was to be kissed by her.

Still hugging, we pulled away, and I barely heard her whisper "I love you".
