Seliel's POV

Ever since he broke up with Skylor, Kai's been ignoring everyone. He never talks to us, and he's only around the ninja when they're on a mission. I'm worried about him. Why? Well, because I have a huge crush on him. Only Nya knows about it. Honestly, I was happy when they broke up. I could finally have a chance with Kai— if I ever see him again, that is.

"Seliel!" Nya shouts. "Over here!"

"Coming!" I reply. The ninja had invited me to celebrate the defeat of the SOG with them. I run in the direction of Nya's voice, and see her tying bright colored balloons to the chairs.

"Hey, Nya!" I say. "Want some help?"

"Sure," She replies. "Put two on each chair. The scissors are right here."

"Got it," I respond, picking up a red and a pink balloon. Turning around to tie the two balloons, I notice Kai walking by. He waves at me and smiles. Wait— smiles!? He smiled at me! I wave back, feeling my face getting warm.

"I saw that," Nya says, smirking.

"Oh, hush," I reply. Nya laughs and ties a blue and purple balloon onto a chair.

Kai's POV

"Hey...," Seliel says, walking up to me.

"Hey," I respond.

"Can I uh- talk to you?" She asks.

"You are," I reply with a smirk. She rolls her eyes.

"Can I talk to you in private?"

"Sure," I respond with laugh. We walk over to a corner, away from everyone.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Kai, I uh- I kinda.....like.....you......"

I was speechless. I didn't know what to say. She likes me back!? I couldn't believe it.

"Kai?"

"I do too,"

"Wait— WHAT!?"

"You heard me,"

"Kai—"

"I love you,"

Seliel's POV

WHAAAAAAAAAT!?!?

"Kai—" I begin.

"I love you" He interrupts. I immediately blush.

"You sure?" I say, smirking.

"Does this answer your question?" He responds, quickly leaning down, pressing his lips against mine. He pulls away after a few seconds.

"Hmmm?" I ask, smirking. " I wasn't quite clear on that. Could you tell me again?"

He smirks too, and kisses me a second time.

"Love you" I whisper.

"I love you too, Seliel,"
