Lloyd's POV

Finally.

I managed to secretly plan out a movie night with Rumi while everyone else was out. She had settled down in front of the TV while I made popcorn and grabbed some candy from Jay's "secret" stash. As soon as the popcorn was ready, I divided it in half and fixed two bowls of it.

"Did it start yet?" I asked, walking out of the kitchen.

"Nope," she replied. "It's about to, though."

"Kay," I responded, handing her the popcorn. "It's pretty warm still."

"Thanks."

"No problem. Want something to drink?" I asked, walking back to the kitchen to fix myself something.

"Give me something as dark as my unforgiving soul!" She replied dramatically. I quickly fixed a glass of pure, white milk and handed it to her.

"...I feel insulted," She said, looking a little disappointed.

"You should be," I responded with a laugh. Sitting down just in time to see our favorite show start, she leaned her head against my shoulder.

"Such an unforgiving soul," I teased.

"Oh haha, very funny," she responded sarcastically.

"You know I love you," I reminded her.

"I know"

"Oh, come on!"

"Love you too, Lloyd," she replied with a little laugh. I inched closer to her as she snuggled up against me.

"Lloyd," she whispered.

"Hmm?"

"I....I want a kiss"

"Wh-what?" I asked, half-shocked, half-embarrassed.

"Lloyd, please," she begged. "Kiss me."

I was sure my entire face was red by then. She lifted her head, looking at me with her emerald eyes. Even by looking into them, I could tell she wanted me.

I gave in, slowly leaning my head down until there was hardly any space between us. In one smooth motion, I closed my eyes and pressed my lips against hers. Both of us immediately melted into the kiss until I reluctantly pulled away. She gave a happy sigh and leaned against me, quickly falling asleep, while I stared at her, still amazed.
