The Rejected Mate Comes Back

Chapter 10

Nathan's Pov

It's been 3 days since we found Molly. 3 days that she's been unconscious. Doctors say it's because all the stress she's went through. Yesterday they took her off the breathing tube so she's breathing on her own.

I only left the room for eating and getting drinks. I haven't showered and I probably stink. James comes when the visiting hours are open. He asks me to leave everyday for like 20 minutes. I don't question what he does. That's like his sister to him.

Right now, she looks so lifeless. She looks dead. Her skin is so pale. The machines always beeping every 3 seconds, and getting on nerves.

" Molly, you need to wake up" I whispered to her.

"I regret everything that I've ever done to you. We searched and searched for you and now that I've found you, I can't afford to lose you again "I said. I had a tear in my eye. She may hate me and all but she's my mate, and I was supposed to protect to her and NOT be in harms way.

It was 5 in the afternoon. James should be back anytime. He went to grab him and I something to snack on and a drink. His pack warriors and fighters were still training my pack even though it was Molly's job.

I was dozing off when I heard the door open. I looked and saw who it was. It was James, of course. He have me 3 granola bars and a sofa.

" So has a doctor or nurse come to check on her since I left ?" he asked. I shook my head.

As soon as I said that, a nurse came in. She was the best in the building with 10 others. She came to check her vitals, her temperature, her heart rate With all that other stuff.

" Everything seems fine. I'm having a feeling she'll be awake soon " she smiled. That made me super happy.

Molly Pov

" Molly, you need to wake up " Nathan said, alittle broken. I want to comfort him but I can't move a muscle in my body. I try and try and it never works. I've been laying here, doing nothing for what feels like forever. But really 3 days. That's still a long time !

"I regret everything that I've ever done to you. We searched and searched for you and now that I've found you, I can't afford to lose you again " he said and I could tell he had tears in his eyes. Nathan May have been the most hated person to me but since I've been back, he's changed, in a way. He gives me sparks even if he slightly touches me.

" Molly, my darling, I'm glad to see you " this lady said out of nowhere.

I turn around and the light is so bright so I cover my eyes. It burns! I start to get used to it.

Omg! IT was my mother ! I ran up to her and gave her a hug and started crying my eyes out.

" Sweetie, why are you crying" she asked.

"Because *sniffle* I've missed you" I said, trying to force a smile. I haven't seen her for almost 10 years and words can't explain how much I missed her.

" Why am I here? " I asked, standing straight.

"Well my darling, I am the moon-goddess " she's in pride. My mom, is the moon-goddess! So cool !

"How?" I squealed.

"I don't know, I was chosen by the angels, they didn't even give me a choice but I glad I am I have been watching over you, since I've past. You have been doing amazing an I am proud of you. But your mate, Nathan, well... he loves you Molly. I know what he did and I hated him too, but he's your mate, and you should give him a chance. He's been waiting for you to wake up"

She's says, emotionless.

"I'm going to give him a chance, but he needs to show that I can Trust him and not get hurt like I did last time. How do I go back?" I asked

" Just imagine your self moving and talking and what you usually do with your body. That's how you get back to your body. Before you leave, there will be some danger in the future, I just can't say what. I love you sweetie, safe" she said till she faded.

" Bye mother, love you too " I said and then it went dark. All by myself. Again.

I did what she told me, to try and imagine myself in my body. I could feel my toes, then my legs. Then I felt everything else. The only thing that was hard was to do was open my eyes.

"Nathan, James " I whispered. They both jumped.

" James go get the doctor " Nathan said to James.

" Open yours eyes Hun " he said with so much joy.

I opened them, then squeezed them shut cause the light.

" Hold on " he said. He got up and shut the light off. When I opened my eyes again, it felt good. I sat up and looked around. I was in a plain room, of course the hospital room.

" I'm so glad your back " Nathan said with happiness. His smile was so big. Full of lust. The doctor came in and checked everything to see if it's all good.

" You can leave after we get you tested then Your set " he said, smiling.

"Thanks doc" I said, happy to leave this place.

James came over to me and gave me a kiss on the temple. i sat up and give him a hug. He gave it back in return. He went and sat down.

" You know , everyone has missed you. Do you want to stay here, at this pack, or come home? James asked. Nathan looked hurt.

"How long till we have to go?" I asked.

"A week. You can stay, Molly. Let me know before we leave " James said.

Nathan looked so hurt. I really don wanna go. I wanna stay but I don't want James to feel upset if I stay. I guess I'll have to talk it over with them later.

"Hey James, can I talk to Molly by myself?" Nathan asked James janes came and gave me a kiss in my forehead and left out the room. It was silent for a minute.

" Molly. I just want to say that I'm so very sorry for what I've done to you. That I rejected you, hurt you, and broke you to the point you left us. I just want a chance. Ill make it up to you. I'll do anything to get you back. Just give me a chance" he said. His hand, holding mine, sparks exploding all over me.

" Yes, Nathan. But it will take awhile. But yes. I'll give you chance" I said, smiling. He stood up, picked me up, and kissed me. First I was taken away but i kissed him back. Fireworks were going off everywhere. It was perfect. I loved it. He pulled back and we both smile. He puts me down.

" You should sleep. It's late" he said and came over to give me a kiss on the cheek and left.

I think things are going to change. Start to work out between us. Nathan and I. I smile at the thought of it.
