"Whoa! Hey, Hey. Pietro, calm down. Clam down. Pietro!?"

His eyes where wide and full of anger and sadness? I could see unshed tears dance off the light in his sky blue eyes. His silver hair was wild from running.

I reached out and put my hands on the side of his face to look at me. I could instantly feel his body relax and his eyes became softer.

"Clint?" He said just above a whisper.

I wouldn't of be able to hear him if it wasn't for Stark giving me high tech hearing aids.

"It's me" he looked down but my hands where still held against his face so I gently lifted his head up to meet my gaze. "What happened?"  A few tears fell from his eyes creating paths on his cheeks. I softly wiped them away with my thumb.

He reluctantly pulled back. He coughed before shaky words followed.

"I was thinking-too much- and I just kept running. I broke the sound barrier but just kept running till I guess I passed out" he kept his eyes at floor only glancing at me once or twice.

"How long have you been running?"

"What's the time?"

"3:56 am"

"Oh-Um only since the others finished...so since six pm"

"Ten hours" I exclaimed. He looked down again.

"What where you thinking about? What has made you so upset?" I asked. My words leaking with concern for the runner that I had a strange soft spot for.

"Nothing, Nothing" he sniffed. "I have no right to be upset" his accident thick. My brow furrowed at his words.

He stood up quickly to leave. As I watched him begin to move I saw his eyes move as if he was in a haze and his feet tumble. I stood up just in time to catch him before he fell.

We where both back on the ground but instead he was in my arms, leaning his head against my chest for support.

"Pietro, Your exhausted" I looked down at him seeing his eyes flutter shut.

I sighed.

What the heck got him so upset? I don't think I have seen him so beat up.

I felt this odd feeling, one that I had felt before but yet this was different. I could feel my heart beat. And then I could hear it as Pietro moved himself closer to me. I smiled. A proper smile. A smile that I hadn't felt in for so long.
Why-why was I smiling? Why did I feel suddenly light?
