It was Bright's idea, which is never a good thing, but Arthit figured after eight years, the man would've changed, become more mature. Based off of the pink leotard in his hands, Arthit realizes that assumption couldn't have been more wrong.

Bright looks smug. Arthit feels nauseous.

In a white, cursive font, Wifey is written across the front, and Arthit thinks he might vomit.

He says as much out loud.

His friend is laughing, boisterous and loud as he always is, Tootah joining in, too, eventually. Prem cracks a smile, but it seems more because of the other two's cheer being so contagious. Knot looks concerned, but when elbowed by Bright, he gives a reluctant smile.

Finally, Arthit also breaks into a smile, but even a blind man can tell it's fake. Doesn't matter, though, because before things can truly get awkward, Knot hands over his gift, and Arthit sets Bright's dumb gag off to the side.

As soon as he gets home, he hides the offensive attire, hopefully for it to never be found again. With a busybody like Kongpob as his boyfriend, Arthit doesn't know why he set his hopes so high.

It's as he's doing a deep-cleaning of Arthit's apartment that he finds it. Kongpob had meant to clean the house to surprise his boyfriend, but it seems he's the one who got the surprise in the end.

He's stretching his arm out under the bed, trying to get as much stuff out from underneath it, when his fingers catch on something soft, and when he gives a tug and pulls his hand back, he's clutching something pink in his hand. Kongpob stares down at the article of clothing before finally opening it up fully.

"Oh no," slips out of his mouth when he realizes what's emblazoned across the front. Arthit must've felt completely humiliated. He never quite grew out of the embarrassment of being with a man, nor did he ever make peace with the fact that he actually preferred being on bottom. Kongpob can only imagine how uncomfortable this leotard made the older man feel. When he hears the doorknob begin to rattle, he's quick to drop the garment and kick it back under the bed.

Arthit walks in looking tired, and Kongpob eagerly welcomes him home with open arms.

He doesn't mention the outfit, and neither does the elder, so he stores his knowledge of the piece away for later.

As the days go by, Kongpob can't help but notice his boyfriend's quickly growing attitude and shortening temper. When Arthit smacks Kongpob's hand away while the younger is adding chillies to his plate, shouting that he's not Kongpob's fragile wife, Kongpob thinks he knows what the issue is.

"It's because of the leotard, isn't it?" Kongpob asks, making Arthit drop the fork he'd just picked up. At the elder's wide-eyed look, Kongpob nods his head. "Yes, P'Arthit. I saw it."

Arthit shakes his head and picks up his fork. "It's just a joke. Who cares? It's not like I have to wear it."

Kongpob reaches across the table to take his boyfriend's hand in his. "Maybe not," he agrees, "but the fact that someone looked at it and thought of you bothers you, doesn't it? And then they gave it to you in front of others."

"It's just a joke," Arthit repeats.

"I take it you weren't laughing," Kongpob notes.

"Of course not!" Arthit confirms. He glares down at their joined hands.

"Then it mustn't have been a very good joke," Kongpob inquires.

Arthit continues to glare at their hands.
