a m a n d a -

Soon I was being dragged out of the door by Calum. I was hoping he wouldn't decide to do something that could get the both of us in trouble again. Being caught once was enough for me. I didn't want to end up with a criminal record, I would be damned if that happened.

He unlocked the car doors and got inside, looking at me once as if asking if I was going to enter the car or just stare at it, I sighed and got in.

The noise of the door slamming made me flinch and look at Calum who grimaced. "This didn't happen."

"Oh yea?"

"If Ashton knew, he would kill me." he exaggerated.

"He wouldn't kill you, maybe just hurt you a bit." I reasoned with him, he chuckled.

"See, I knew you could be fun."

I wasn't expecting that one at all. "Thanks, I guess."

He started the car, turning on the radio. I felt out of place, I mean, I barely know the guy yet he's taking me somewhere.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see. Just loosen up a bit, you'll have fun."

I looked at him not buying it, I wasn't sure whether to believe him or not, I wouldn't have fun if I was constantly thinking that we could end up arrested again, that was all I thought when I was with this messed up cult.

Or how Michael called it "The Illegal", whatever that means.

He parked the car near some sort of a convenience store and got out of the car telling me to come with him and that was what I did. I followed him.

It was obvious Calum had been there before since he had no trouble finding the aisle he was looking for and let me tell you, I wasn't expecting it, again. In front of me there were a couple of shelfs full of spray cans and things like that. So this is Calum's plan of fun.

He looked like a little boy on Christmas day, his eyes lit up and he was smiling really widely. It was kind of adorable.

"Spray cans?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Oh yea."

After buying a lot of spray cans, more than I think we needed, even though Calum said that we would use all, we went back to the car and he drove off to another unknown place.

It took him a lot of convincing and telling that this time we wouldn't really get caught by the police - thing that I was still fearing - but he got me to agree in whatever he was planing to do. It was pretty obvious what he wanted to do with those spray cans.

He stoped the car next to an old looking warehouse, probably abandoned for a long time now.

"This is it." Cal shot me a small smile and got out of the car. "So, I'll teach you how do my thing."

I followed Calum inside the building, it looked really destroyed, the walls were full of graffiti. Basically, it looked like a typical abandoned building. He looked actually happy to be there, maybe this was his spot.

I saw him taking a spray can out of bag and starting to spray the walls, drawing something I couldn't understand. "What are you waiting for?" he questioned.

"I don't know how to do this, Calum." I shrugged and picked one of the cans, just staring at the wall in front of me. I didn't even know what to do with that.

"This is a way of expressing yourself, it's a way of making art and anyone can see it because it's not hiding in museums or something like that, so just draw or write something, anything you want, as long as it's not something like 'i love this person'. That is annoying to see." he smiled, it was obvious he took this seriously. Calum turned to the wall he was spraying again and continued his drawing, he looked really concentrated biting his lip and with his eyebrows furrowed.

I can do this, right? And I did like Calum told me, I started spraying random lines in the wall, hoping that in the end I had created something good, not a masterpiece but something that someone would actually like to look at.

"How did you meet the group?" I asked, trying to make small talk to try to break the silence. I didn't know any of the persons that had intruded my life and I could at least try to get to know them better.

"I've known Michael since I was little and I met the others through him and apparently we all have a thing for illegal things. We bonded over that."

Bonding over something like doing illegal stuff. That was certainly something unusual but it fits them. They are a messed up group. Really messed up.

"So what did you draw?" Calum asked after a while. He looked at the wall and started laughing. "What's that?"

"I don't know." I retorted, looking over to Calum's drawing made me feel a little sad because mine was a mess full of lines that didn't form anything and then Calum made something better. "What the hell did you do there?"

"It's you." I shot him a glare.

"It doesn't look like me."

"I'm kidding, Amanda. Chill. But hey it was good for a first time."

"Sure it was." I said sarcastically. Calum rolled his eyes and threw the spray can somewhere behind him.

"Shush. See doing illegal things can be fun."

He had a point there, doing graffitis was fun, different and kind of weird but fun. It was better than going to the race, at least for me. And this didn't actually end badly.

"Okay, it's not really bad."

"You're not that bad either, Amanda. You just need to loosen up and you can be kinda cool."
