Chapter 17: Rematch

Bruce's P.O.V.

"Quilladin dodge it and use Bullet Seed!" I said in an alertive manner.

Quilladin dodged the Incinerate attack from the Pansear and shot numerous amounts of hardened seeds to his opponent.

"Pansear, Use Bide!" The Teenager in a hoodie, Said.

Pansear crossed his arms to block, took the attack and began to store energy.

"End it here with, Take down!"

Quilladin ran and collected speed, ramming Pansear hard into wall of the arena, Quilladin had recieved mid-level recoil and hurt himself a little, Pansear had his back propped against the wall and was unable to continue.

"You had me good there" The Teenager in a hoodie said with acceptance of defeat.

"Eh, you just weren't strong enough for me." Bruce said looking way.

"That's about the closest thing to a compliment I'll get out of you." The Teenager with the hoodie said smiling and rubbing his hair.

"Shut up. Anyways, You're improving Quilladin." Bruce said smirking at the Pokemon.

Finally, The Pokemon had received a decent compliment from his tough trainer, he smiled.

"But we still have much more miles to go, so don't get too comfortable. There's always room for improvement." Bruce said with a stern tone while putting him back in his Pokèball.

"So, you think you can handle him when he's back?" The teenager with the hoodie said.

"I have time, I can train and I can finally take the trust and respect I deserve from him." Bruce said clutching Quilladin's Pokèball while looking into the sky.

Meanwhile...

Maverick bursts out the floor hitting the Machamp, pushing him back a little bit(Dig).

"Machamp, Rock Smash!" The Buff looking trainer commanded with rage.

Machamp recovers and Pummels Maverick into the floor, dealing great damage.

"Damn it. Assist Maverick with a Thunderbolt!"

"Flaaf!" Flaafy grunted while she was hit with Volt's quick attack and was blown away a few feet, Volt Charges himself and unleashes a powerful bolt of Thunder towards Machamp, Causing an explosion.

"Maverick, Are you okay!?" Sanders asked worriedly.

"Marsh! Marshtomp!" Maverick got up with a Persistent stance.

The smoke cleared and revealed a paralyzed Machamp.

"Okay! Maverick use Water-Pulse! And Volt, Use Shadow Ball on Flaafy!"

Maverick rather than charging a Water Pulse in his hand, He shot one out of his mouth which was even more powerful than the usual. Volt created a Shadow Ball and fired it at Flaafy.

"Flaafy, Dodge it and use Fire punch on that Jolteon!" The Beautiful trainer commanded.

"Machamp, Cross Chop! Now!" The Buff Trainer Demanded furiously.

Machamp despite paralyzed, Got up and roared loudly, with glowing chop formed hands and tried countering the powerful Water Pulse, Flaafy barely dodging Shadow Ball and bolted towards Volt and punched him with great force, being pushed back 10 feet while grappling his paws to the ground. Machamp eventually gives in to paralyzation and gets blown into the wall, unable to continue.

"Damn it, You did well Machamp. I'm sorry Cherry but it's all yours now."

"That's okay, Tim. It doesn't matter if we win or lose, all that matters is that we gave it our all. Right Flaafy!?" Cherry says being pumped.
