Chapter 9: Sickness?/ Surprise?

Jieun's POV

I went downstairs and cleaned some of the mess I made, till my phone rang. I picked up the phone

" hello oemma" I said with a soft voice

" Jieun, sorry if you cooked food already, but we changed plans we will have dinner in a restaurant instead" she said through the phone and I heaved sigh

" why so sudden?" I asked as I sat on the couch

" well because, we can't go there now. Because we have a lot of things to do, so we would just have dinner in a restaurant" she said

" Ok, see you there" I said

" I'm sorry honey" she said

" it's okay" I said and ended the call.

As soon as I ended the call Jungkook came from the door, he looks tired and exhausted.

" Jungkook, we should go now they're waiting for us" I said

" okay, I'll just change my clothes" he said in a cold tone as he went upstairs to his room. I went to the kitchen and slowly packed up the food I made and store it to the fridge " I guess I'll be eating all of this alone" I mumbled. I took an orange juice and drank it while waiting for him. I was tapping my glass on the counter while waiting for him to come down. Soon I saw him getting down, he was wearing a black shirt, black ripped jeans and black Lee Cooper

" I'll be waiting outside, so hurry" he said and took a glance at me as he went out of the house. I rolled my eyes and placed my glass on the sink and went outside, I locked the door and went in the car. I was sitting beside him. The whole ride was awkward, no one dared to say or utter any word. He focused on the road while I focused on the window enjoying the scenery. As soon as we get there we went out of the car and entered a fancy restaurant well our parents selected it. As we entered we saw our parents waving at us I went closer and hugged oemma and appa

" I miss you both so much" I said as I hugged them tighter

" we also missed you" oemma and appa said at the same time

As well as Jungkook hugged his parents, we both exchanged as Jungkook hugged my parents and I hugged his parents. After the hugging session we all sat down

" how are you guys doing?" appa asked

" were doing great" I said and fake smiled, I glance at Jungkook I guess he wasn't expecting me to say that.

" well that's great news!" mom said (a/n: remember Jieun is calling Mrs: Jeon mom and she is calling Mr: Jeon as abeoji)

Our food arrived I took my chopsticks and started eating

" so the thing that we will discuss you guys about is..." abeoji started talking as me and Jungkook's ears are wide open to listen

" you guys will go to a honeymoon!" both of our parents cheerfully said as I chocked on my food same as Jungkook.

" WHAT?!" me and Jungkook said in unison

" yes! You guys heard as right! You guys will go to a honeymoon" oemma smiled. Me and Jungkook is just JUNGSHOOK right now.

" please don't reject this opportunity, we already bought you're tickets and we already reserved you guys rooms, plus I guess you guys will be the most wonderful couple there!" mom said and smiled with happiness.

I glanced at Jungkook he had a disgust reaction on his face.

Dad hand us the tickets and our destination is in Bora Bora! I always wanted to go there with the person I love and who loves me, but I'm the one who is only inlove not him. He has someone else....

After a while we were busy chit chatting. Till I saw Appa and Jungkook went out of the table. " I wonder where are they going" I talked to my self

Jungkook's POV

" can we talk for a minute" Jieun's dad whispered at my ear

" sure" I said, me and Mr: Lee got out of the table and went to the corner of the restaurant. It was awkward a tension was rising up through the air

"I want to tell you is, please treat my daughter better than her pass relationships, better than anyone else. I want you to make her happy, I want you to make her feel special, I don't want her sickness back" he frowned, I looked through his eyes he was begging me to do it. I was shock on what he said 'sickness'? What kind of sickness?

" w-what sickness?" I kinda got worried

" she had depression, when she was 13 she and her best friend got separated then she got a lot of hatred in school back then, she did a lot of things she cut her self, she lock her self in her room, she even attempted to have suicide. Good thing we weren't to late. We consulted a doctor and the doctor said she could have depression again, if she would have hard times or not feeling loved. She was depressed for 2 years and we felt guilty because we didn't even realize that, we were so busy in work that we didn't have time for her " he said he was tearing up, but he quickly whipped it away.

" so I'm counting on you, because she will live with you forever" he exclaimed. I was shock by Jieun's past. I never thought it would be this hard for her.

" can you do that?" he asked. I just nodded in response, I wasn't sure if I could do what he asked for.

" let's go back" he said and I just nodded we went back to our table, after a while we decided to leave. We bid goodbye to one another and left

Jieun's POV

We were in the car and again we weren't talking or saying any word, till I remembered something.

" so what did you and Appa talked about?" I asked

" non of you're business" he said coldly as he focus on the road.

" why can't you tell me?" I asked again as the tension is rising up

" shut up, I'm driving" he said with a little anger, so I stopped and just played with my phone.

Finally we reached home, I unlocked the door and removed my shoes. I went to my room right away and jumped my body on the bed. I was about to go to the bathroom, but then someone knocked on the door, I went infront of the door and opened it. Jungkook is infront of me, he looks dazzling!

" pack you're things we will go to Bora Bora" he said in a cold tone avoiding eye contact. I was shock does he really mean it?! I thought he would reject. I'm so happy right now

" o-okay" I stuttered and he left my room and went to his room.

I quickly packed the things I need and changed to my pj's then I fell to dreamland
