Chapter 14: Party

Jieun's POV

"let's go" he said, we were walking at the door till somebody knocked on the door. I gave Jungkook a confused look and opened the door. It revealed a beautiful woman standing in front of our door smiling widely

" hello Mrs and Mr Jeon!" she said politely and bowed

" ummm... Hello. What do you need?" Jungkook asked with slight of annoyance

" I'm here to give you an invitation" she handed me and envelope I gave her a confused look, I opened the envelope while Jungkook is leaning closer so he could see. I finally opened the envelope and I unfold the paper it says

To Mr and Mrs Jeon

You are invited in our party tonight, this party is indeed mostly for couples specially for those who are married. Please come in xxxx in 7pm We are expecting you to come.

I blinked several times, I was in deep thoughts same as Jungkook. Till the girl spoke

" please come, we are expecting you guys to come. Thank you for you're time" she said and bowed before she left.

I looked at Jungkook

" we can't go" I said

" why not?" he asked

" because..." I looked around trying to make an excuse, I bit my lip

" can't make an excuse? Let's go" he said and took my hand. I stared at my hand and his hand together perfectly molded

We were in the Elevator ( or lift) he pressed the close button.
I was there in the corner doing nothing, we werent saying anything it was complete awkward silence.

" why won't you take Gina instead of me?" I broke the silence

" why do you want to know?" he asked not even giving a glance at me.

" I'm curious" I asked and bit my lip

" isn't it clear? It says in the invitation to 'Mrs and Mr Jeon' I'm Mr Jeon and you're Mrs Jeon" my heart skipped when he said the last 3 words, is he admitting it??!!

" you're Mrs Jeon for now, but not for long" when I heard that my heart ached, it broke my heart. What was I expecting? I'm nothing to him I'm a stranger. I sighed, soon the doors open Jungkook walked out first then I followed him from behind. We were walking till he stopped

" were here" he said and opened the doors, the place was loud, full of couples around, the music was loud. It has different LED lights that makes it look better, but at the same time it was kinda dark. As I follow Jungkook I saw people eating and sucking each others faces

Why would anyone do it in public? It's so embarrassing. I was too focus at my thoughts till Jungkook was no where to be found. I let my eyes roam and search for him, but there were no signs of him.
I was starting to be anxious and nervous the scene that happened to me In the street appeared at my mind again ( if you guys are wondering it's in chapter 2) my breathing started to be unstable.
I looked around trying to look for him

" Jieun!" somebody shouted from afar, I turned to the direction of the voice I sighed in relief when I saw its Jungkook. I walked towards him.

" hey where were you?" he asked I can feel his burning gaze on me

" I'm supposed to be the one asking you that!" I talked back

" okay okay, I don't want to argue for now I will let you pass, but next time I won't!" he said, I rolled my eyes and seated beside him. We were just there sitting and doing nothing, just listening to the beat of the music. Some girls went near us, I guess they were 2. They sat on our table they were focus on Jungkook. Jungkook just stared blankly at them.

" hey can you be my partner tonight, in the slow dance?" a girl with red bernette hair asked to Jungkook, he didn't respond. This is supposed to be a couples night or let's say married couples night, but why are they flirting with other guys? They should freaking learn!

The red headed girl sat on Jungkook's Lap and wrapped her arms on his neck, Jungkook gave a disqust expression towards the girl. He smirked at the girl and held my hand which taken me back.

" sorry, but I have a wife. You should go with you're boyfriend, husband, or with somebody else" he smiled which made the girl shock she got out of Jungkook's lap and shot me a death glare. I gulped and removed my hands from Jungkook's grip and looked somewhere else. The MC started talking

" Good evening every one! I hope you guys are enjoying right now! We will turn on the soft music! Get you're partners and dance here in the center! We will choose for the couple who will dance here on the stage!" The mc announced the crowd started to cheer which made me close my ears a little.

The music started, people started going with their partners. I was here sitting and smiling painfully while watching how those couples are so sweet with each other.

I wish I can dance with the person I love and who loves me...

I was so focused with my thoughts till a bright light was shining on top of me which causes me to snap back in reality, everything went slow mo I looked up and squinted my eyes. The light was too bright I can't barely see anything except for the bright light. I looked around

" We've chosen this couple to dance here on the stage!" the MC announced I looked to the direction where Jungkook is he glared and I stared blankly.

" come up here!" the MC said Jungkook leaned to me and whispered to my ear

" let's play along if you don't want trouble" he whispered with his husky voice, I just nodded in response we stood up and went to the stage.

" oh it's Mr and Mrs Jeon" the MC said which causes the crowd to cheer.

" that must be Korea's youngest CEO"

" They look good together"

" his so HOT! I wish my husband is like that"

I heard them whispering and mumbling things. I can't believe his well known here.

" Lets start again!" The MC said and played the soft music. I looked at Jungkook and he just have a blank expression. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around me, I looked around trying to avoid eye contact with him. This is just so awkward. We started to sway our body from side to side. He would clear his throat from time to time which makes me check on him. I can see his not interested in any of this,neither do I, but I want to enjoy this night with him even though he is not in the mood for anything. I sighed. The music come to an end which everyone stopped dancing with their partners.

" okay everyone in count to 10 everyone shall kiss their partners or anyone they want!" the MC announced which made my eyes widened same as Jungkook's. I was panicking not knowing what to do the MC started counting

"1" as the number one was said the lights turned off

"let's play along" he whispered , I didn't know what to do till I felt

Jungkook's hands on my mouth he kissed the back of his hand. Pretending we kissed. I rolled my eyes. The lights turned on and he removed him hands on my mouth and looked somewhere else.

We went down the stage and went to our chairs.
