Daughter of Zeus

Chapter 2

I turned to the door and knocked. It suddenly opened.

"Ahhh Ms.Alexis Right welcome to camp Half-Blood"

"Umm how do you know my whole name?"

"I know everything I mean c'mon I'm Chiron" he said cockily, "well come inside"

I laughed as I walked into his office which was pretty big and sat down in a chair in front of his desk.

"So Alexis do you know why you are here?" He asked with his strong English accent.

"Because I'm a half blood"

"Very good. It's very dangerous for half-bloods to be out in the open world especially when they are not properly trained"

"Trained?"

"Yes, trained to fight and defend and to become warriors. Here in this camp you will be trained to do all those things"

"But I'm not a warrior I'm just some girl from New York..."

"Alexis you have the blood of a god coursing through your veins. You are not normal"

I scoffed.

"I don't even know who my godly parent is anyways"

"And that's also why your here. C'mon let me show you to your cabin". We walked along a path passing other cabins

"Over there are the children of Apollo" he said pointing to a cabin, "And over there are the children of Aries"

We continued walking until we came upon a cabin that had a lightning bolt on the top of it. I just thought it was for design.

"Welcome to your cabin" Chiron held the door opened as I walked inside.

"Woahhh it's beautiful", I told him. I looked around the whole cabin. There was a living room, two bedrooms each with a bathroom and a kitchen. One thing I noticed was that a lot of lightning was incorporated

"Wow this place is really nice. I really love the whole 'lightning theme'. It's really cool" I said. Chiron stared at me for a moment with a smirk on his face. I gasped.

"I-I'm the daughter of Zeus aren't I?" I asked shocked

"Finally! Now we're getting somewhere" he teased.

"C-can I have some time to take this in?"

"Of course take all the time you need"

"Thank you-

"But I have a meeting at 3 and it's 2:55 so if you have any questions nows the time to ask"

"Umm no-no it's okay I'll just talk to you another day about this"

"No problem kiddo now go get settled in" he said as he walked out the door.

Wow. I'm the daughter of Zeus THE ZEUS- but that still doesn't change how I feel. He left me and my mom.

Ten minutes passed and I was finished "unpacking". I didn't have a lot to do I mean, I only brought a backpack with me anyways.
