Chapter 3

Wednesday 8 a.m

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty" Grover said loudly as he bit into an apple

"Mmmmmmmmhhh" I groaned in frustration as I rolled over and pulled the covers over my head

"Girl don't mmmmm me. You do know that training starts in an hour right" he said to me

"Training?", I mumbled," OH SHIT TRAINING!" I nearly jumped right out the bed. Thank God I realized I was naked and grabbed the cover before i was exposed

"Um dude can you get out?" I asked

"Nah I needa make sure you don't go back to sleep. Percy sent me"

"Bro I'm naked under here so ima need you to leave"

"Oh shit my fault girl but what you doing naked for?" He said as he began walking towards the door

"I didn't bring any clothes"

"Ohhh so maybe that's what's inside these"

"What are you talking about?" I looked over to where he was standing and saw a lot of boxes

"Oh shit there's a note. It says it's from Callista" he told me

"I guess it's a friendly gift" I said

"Oh. welp...hurry up and figure out what it is and be at the main training area by 9 SHARP"

"Okay okay okay" I said as he walked out the door. As soon as he was completely out I jumped out the bed and ran into the shower. As I came out I wrapped the towel around my body and put my curly hair into two cornrow braids.

"Hmmm well, they're from Callista so I know they're clothes. Just hope it's a lot of clothes and I hope they're comfortable too" I laughed to myself. I opened one box since I wouldn't have time to open every box. I saw panties, leggings, spandex shorts and undergarments inside.

"Oooo and they're pink brand. Niceeee. Thank you Callista" i opened one more box since I had a few minutes to spare. Inside had casual t shirts and crop tops and hoodies—things like that.I put on my undergarments and grabbed a T-shirt and shorts. I put on the same black hirache sneakers I came here with. I checked my phone to see the time. It read 8:55. I ran out my cabin and made my way to the main training area

"I'm here! I'm here!" I yelled out of breath as I made my way to Percy who was with Chiron along with every one else in the camp, "wow... this is a lot  of people"

"Ha you'd think she'd be in time" Annabeth snickered. I rolled my eyes

"It's 9:10. We said 9 on the dot what made you late?" Chiron questioned

"Um I-

"First impressions are everything . Never be late for battle" he said as he handed me a sword and armor. I looked around at everyone else

"Everyone else isn't wearing this heavy armor, they're wearing new high tech stuff. Why I gotta wear this?" I asked

"Everyone started in the 'old fashion' armory. It's tradition. You gotta do it too. You start off with this and as you become better you get new and better armor"Percy said
