When I had finally arrived home I was ready to go lay my head on my soft sweet pillow. It called me like a Angel from heaven the soft cushion plum softness uh the life of a warm comfortable bed my dream
I was shocked out of my daze when my mom called me to the Kitchen
I groaned as I walked towards the Kitchen.
"Sweetheart oh how was school" my mom asked
"Just fine how was your day are you early from work" I asked at the of chance my mother could have spend her day in the Kitchen. She only came home early in case of emergency
"Actually I have some news" she said giving me a weak smile "I've been offered a programme at Pristine"
"Mom that's great aren't you happy"
I asked
"Its for a year. I start this summer but I won't go if you don't want me to " she said I walked to the living room and sat down
"Are we gong to have to move" I asked
"Its still a possiablty but we could have you guys stay but it also means you stay with your farther he wants to redeem himself so he'll be checking up on you."
"Does Jake about know it?"
"I had told him about it when he had arrived" she whispered tears forming
"He had said I should not go I saw rage filled with sadness in my own son's eyes because of me...... then he left" She said on the verge of breaking down
"Mom he'll understand" I said to her "He has to deal with the fact this would happen at some point"
"How about you are you okay" she asked
"I really don't know how to feel about this ?" She asked me
"To tell you the truth I don't know" my whole entire body was numb I didn't know how to feel angry,sad, or happy. My farther had left when I was about 1 years old . My brother had told me of how mom would cry every night we were asleep
So him coming back into my i still didnt know how I would feel about this. My mind jumbled for answers to what conclusion about my feelings
"Sweetheart you just think about it okay sweety." I nodded my head at her and stood up to walk to my room when I got a call
"Hello"
"Tay did you ask your mom" she said her voice lingering with hope
"No. And I don't think I will"
"Why not" I explained to her about my situation and how I couldn't go and leave my brother with our farther for one second
"We might to cancel the trip" I said
"How about your brother come with"
"I don't need the brother police hovering over me the whole trip"
"Please just try for me"
"Fine. Bye"
And with that I hung up only to a loud bang hit the door looks like big bros home. I heard my mother's plea as he walked up the steps and foot prints pass by the door and his door shut
I got up and went to his room and knocked on the door
"Mom I don't want to talk"
"Its not mom. Open up we need to talk"
"Its open"
