These four walls,
Close in on me,
Makes me feel small, makes me feel safe;
Makes me feel lonely.
Where are you?
Your smile, your chuckles, your noisy laughter.
All there is now. . . Silence.
These four walls hold silence.
In the middle of the night I crave your warmth,
But in bed there is only a solitary soul hidden in thin bedsheets and tear stained pillows.
The mirror is a liar, it always shows me smiling, I guess you believe it;
It's better if you do.
I've been thrown into the sky, find myself falling back,
This time I fear hitting the ground,
I know your arms aren't there anymore,
To catch me once I fall.
