Emma -29 weeks pregnant

So I'm 29 weeks pregnant & I'm hobbling into work so Grayson is doing all his schoolwork at the bureau & when I'm looking through files I get a knock on the door I say " come in" the guy says " I'm detective Fred Layton we spoke on the phone about the disappearances" I said" I thought I asked you to send me your files first" Fred says " that's the thing is I don't have any files" I ask " then how do you know these people have gone missing when there's no records or reports of them missing" Fred says " I would talk to these people one night & they'd be gone the next day" Aaron walks in asking" whose this" I say" Detective Fred Layton with the Kansas city FBI, he says that there might be 63 missing people" Aaron ask " do we have a case" I say" I don't know, detective Layton why don't you explain what's going on to my team" he nods thanking me I say" don't thank me yet" I then go to the round table when everyone's there saying" guys this is Kansas city detective Fred Layton, he's gonna explain what's going on in Kansas" I sit down in a chair & he starts by saying" good people in my department have been going missing by a couple a day" Reid asks" what kind of people are you talking about" Layton says" druggies, prostitutes, drunks and strippers" Aaron says" good for you" Layton takes out a paper in a bag saying" then I got this in the mail" I pick it up reading" there are two types of people in this world: people who do the work & people who take the credit, you should be ashamed" Layton says" someone else knows that I didn't do it" Morgan asks" how many people are we talking about" Layton says" at least 63 people, people that I would regularly see that just aren't there anymore, people I would see at lunch then by dinner would be gone from the earth" I ask" have we been invited by the head of police" Layton says" huh" I say" chief of police, lead detective" he says" I've talk to my boss about it" I say" we can't officially join the investigation until we've been invited in by the head of police" Aaron says" Emma & I will go to Kansas city in 45 minutes to talk to the head of the police, If we've been invited we'll send you a text" we leave going to my office Aaron asking" what do you think" I say" I don't know, 63 people seem like a lot, how can people not notice that many people disappear" Aaron says " I'd be worried to if some I knew told me that there possibly 63 potential victims" we get on the jet & when we're almost there I walk by Layton saying " we're landing soon" Layton says" what" I say "we are arriving soon" Layton nods going back to his notebooks I sit down with Aaron saying " he seems" Aaron says " compulsive" I say " he keeps going through those notebooks" Aaron says " excessive note writing is a form of OCD" we land going into the building up to the head of the bureau I say " I'm SSA Emma and this is agent Hotchner" captain Wright  says " I'm sorry for all the trouble Layton has done" I say " it's no problem, Layton told us that 63 people have gone" captain Wright says " I didn't say it was okay to invite you in" I turn to Layton saying " you said he'd be okay with it" so we work something out and I call the team saying " come down here"  I'm in the middle of talking to an officer when I get a call from Penelope asking" hey baby momma, do you know what time his work needs to be turned in to his school because I can send the school his work by faxing it t the teacher's" I say" I'll send you a copy of the work schedule & teacher emails, how's he doing by the way" Penelope says" good, he's working on english right now" I say "good" Penelope says" when are you taking your break from the field" I say" once I get further along my pregnancy so probably end of my third trimester" Penelope says" alright" so then Aaron says" let's go down to the Alleyways  and ask people questions" I say" okay" going in a car to the alley's we split up, Aaron & I and Morgan & Prentiss, I'm talking with Aaron saying" maybe the unsub think's he's helping us out by killing them, maybe he thinks they carry some kind of Illness and he think's by getting rid of them he's getting rid of the illness in the world" so I go up to a homeless man asking" would you mind if I asked you a few questions" he says" no I don't" I ask" have you seen someone around here that you haven't seen around here" I write it down asking" have you noticed anything suspicious going on like missing people or a ride you haven't seen" the guy says" I've haven't seen any of those, why are you asking these questions" I say" we think that people from these Alley's have gone missing" he shakes his head so I meet up with everybody saying" nobody's seen anything but baby's gotten a lot of attention" they nod saying the same thing so we then I ask" captain Wright  does your team have any social workers" he says " no why" I jog up to the women saying" hey pretty where you going" she says" he said he could take me to the Park" I ask" do you have your worker's permit" he says" no" trying to drive off but Morgan gets in the window crashing his car pulling him out taking him to the station, I get inside when my phone rings I pick up saying" Emma here" it's Grayson asking" hey mommy, when are you gonna be home" I say" I don't know but, have you ate yet" Grayson says" no mommy" I say" bud get the mac & cheese from Penelope's fridge & ask her to heat it up for you" Grayson asks" what is your job doing" I say" we're trying to find a bad guy buddy, it's too yucky for you" Grayson says" is da-Morgan okay" I say" Buddy, you can call Morgan daddy because he is your dad, but yea he is okay" Grayson asks"can I talk to daddy" I say" let me see if he's doing anything" I go & he's watching Aaron Interview the guy , I go up to him saying" your little dude wants to talk to you" Morgan walks out saying"what's going on little guy" I smile when JJ asks"whose Morgan talking to" I say"Grayson" So with this happening we finally find the guy, they go while I stay when I watch the news I see a bomb go off, I call Penelope in tears asking" did you see the news" Penelope says" no why" I say" a bomb went off, call the team" I say"keep me in the call" Penelope calls Morgan first saying"hey have you seen the rest of the team" Morgan asks" no why" I take a deep breath saying" there was a bomb near a car" Morgan asks" little one kicks I laugh when I hear the team come in I immediately hug Morgan grabbing & putting his hand on my stomach baby kicks I say" little one knows your here & safe" Morgan says" okay" So the next morning I have a Gender reveal planned for Morgan but first I have to go to the doctor's to get it , I get in the car when going to the doctor's getting out walking to the doors checking in with the receptionist sitting for 10 minutes when I'm called in and I lay down on the bed having Hammond put gel on my stomach getting the wand on my stomach hammond says"congratulations your having a baby girl" I start crying saying"oh my little princess" So I go to the store buying pink confetti poppers for everyone then heading to the bureau with some tears but I take Grayson saying" bud are you ready to know the gender of your sibling" Grayson nods I say"you'll find out with the team okay" he nods then we get out grabbing the confetti poppers going in & seeing the team talk I say" ready to know baby's gender" they all say" yea" I hand them the poppers and the pull them & out comes pink confetti Morgan asks" we're having a girl" I say" baby girl is healthy as can be" so we all celebrate when I get a call, I answer saying" Emma Morgan with the FBI" it's agent Jordan from Puerto Ricco saying" we have a couple dead bodies here Em & can't figure out the connection, would your team be able to come down here & help" I say" send me the file's" I go into my office looking over the files saying" we have a case" going down to the team saying" sorry to interrupt the celebration but a friend of mine in the PRPD (Puerto Ricco police department) has a case he want's us come down & help" we gather in the briefing room and I pull up a picture saying" we have Hailey Henderson age 23 found in her home found beaten & stabbed in the heart, then we have Lindsey jones age 23  was also found in her home beaten & stabbed in the heart too and the last victim Georgia perking's same age and found the same way as the first 2 victims, wheel's up in 10" I go into my office looking at a picture frame of my old team when Aaron asks" who is that all" I say" my old team from Puerto Ricco from left to right we have Jake lesser, Emmet Jenkins, Landon Cooper, Jake Lesser, Me, Jordan Baker & their unit chief Mr. Sanderson" Aaron  asks" do you miss them" I say" yea but I love this team even more"we get into the Jet going to Puerto Rico taking 9 hours getting there we just meet up at the station getting out I see Jordan hugging him saying" hey this is my team Agents Aaron Hotchner, email printing it out going to Aaron saying "Kaylee started 5-08-18 & was supposed return 5-19-18" Aaron says" okay" just then Parents come up to me saying" we need to speak with Agent Emma" I say" let's go into a room" they nod following me into the room shutting the door behind them I ask" what's wrong" the mother says" I'm Leann & this is my husband Landon, our daughter Macy is in college for climate in different places & she chose the Rain forrest, she started 5-20 & it's for 2 weeks , she isn't answering our calls, we think she's missing " I say" I'm gonna be honest with you guys, I'm not sure if they have service in the rain forest but here's my number I'll call you if we get any new information, I'll call the principle now & see if they have her form" they nod so I call the principle asking" hey it's Agent Emma I was wondering if you have the travel form for Macy Avery ,she's in college for climate in different area's & chose the rainforest" the Principle says" I'll email it to you" I thank him getting my laptop opening my email seeing it saying" see she started the 20th and is suppose to come back the 30th & it's the 25th she could still be in the rain forest but not have any reception but if anything happens I'll call you okay" they thank me leaving so I go to the lead officer asking" can you have someone take me to the rain forest to see if she's there" he nods saying" I'll take you" I nod & we get in the car going over to the Rain forest getting out I say" our goal is to see if Macy is here" he nods I start yelling "Macy ,Macy Avery" I turn my flashlight on shining it on trees & everything walking much further in the rainforest shining my line I catch a glimmer I shout" Macy Avery, I'm with the FBI "I walk more seeing a Tent getting on my walkie saying"hey it's Emma , I'm at her campsite, a tent with a fire pit with a pot it look's like it hasn't been touched for a few days, her tent has a her clothes, feminine products, sleeping bag, but it looks like she has a phone that doesn't require reception but it's broken like she tried to call someone but it got smashed" ted says" alright put it in a evidence bag" I say" alright , lets meet back up at the car" Ted says"alright see you there" I put all the pieces in the bag then grabbing a necklace& a picture  that looks special running back to the car getting in looking at the necklace been asks" why'd you take the necklace &  A picture " I say" the parents will want something to remember her with & if we don't find her in time I think they'll want a memory of her" Ted says" your a mother , I can tell the by the worry in your voice, is it your first" I say" no I have a little boy back home in Virginia" I nod calling Aaron saying" hey Aaron we need an APB on Macy Avery, she wasn't in the rain forest , her campsite was empty , her cooking pot looked like it hasn't been touched in a few days" Aaron says" alright" when we get back to the station I go to the private room I call the parents saying" hey It's agent Emma , can you guys come down to the police station" Landon says" yea of course" I hang up saying" little one when your older please tell where your going & for how long" JJ asks" you alright" I say" my mother instincts are bad, I have to give Macy parents the news that she's missing when I know the feeling of being away from your kid, I don't know what I'd do if Grayson went missing" just then her parents come up to me I lead them in the room saying" you might want to sit down for this" they sit down & I sit on the opposite side of them saying" I had the head officer take me to rainforest so we could see if she's there or not & I found her campsite empty not a sign she was there, her tent had her things in it but her cooking pot looked like it hadn't been touched in a few days" Leann starts crying while Landon comforts her asking me" what's the statics" I say "it's hard to find a missing permission after the first 42 hours, but I'll keep looking for your daughter until I find her" I hand them the Picture & Necklace saying" I don't want you to remember her missing I want you to remember her like this but I'll find her okay" I leave when Grayson calls me saying" mom when are you coming home , I miss you" I say" in a few days bud & I'll spend time with you okay, you , daddy & me will go out somewhere okay" Grayson asks" whats got you down mom" I say" just this case bud, I'll be okay" Grayson says" mommy I love you" I say "I love you too bud, are you being good for mrs.Penelope " Grayson says" yes" I say " good we finally catch him & got Macy's body dead , I call the parent's saying" hey it's Emma I'm sorry to tell you this but we found Macy's body dead, her body will be at the Morgue when your ready to pick it up"Landon says" thank you Emma" I say " don't go to see her okay you don't want to remember her like that , you want to remember her in the picture I gave you" Landon says" Emma take care of your kids , their life is precious & you don't know it until you lose them" I say" I will" hanging up I get to the jet sitting down with my hands on my stomach sighing when Dad asks" what's got you down" grabbing my hand I say" just knowing what those parents are feeling is devastating , having to live with the fact that your kid died & you couldn't do anything to prevent it" dad asks" what does that have to do with you being upset" I say" I just can't imagine what I'd do if I lost Grayson or even my new one, I'd be heartbroken" Dad says" this team wouldn't let anything happen to Grayson or your little girl" I nod saying" yea" when we get back Grayson run's to me saying"mommy your back" I say" yes bud we're back ,let's go home & I'll make us some of that yummy spaghetti you like a lot" get home I change into something comfy going into the kitchen starting the noodles when Grayson asks" momma why do you do this job when it makes you upset" I say" bud there are some things in life you cleaning it ,we started talking when I decided to come live here your dad I got a job at the police station but then my attacker attacked me there that's when the BAU hired me & your dad & I started talking & soon enough you came into the picture" Grayson asks" how are babies made" I say" that is a question for daddy, go tell him dinner's ready" I then set the plates up seeing them coming down, I serve my self 2 servings then serving Morgan 2 servings but serving Grayson 1 serving when Grayson asks" why you guys get 2 servings & I only get one" I explain " Grayson I have to eat for two & dad's a big guy he needs a lot more then you do" Grayson says" okay" I say "eat up, since we don't have any cases tomorrow we're going out "after we got done eating I said " PJ time Buddy" Grayson goes to his room while I clean up Morgan comes behind hugging me asking" what's got you upset" I say" Grayson's getting sad when I'm out on a case, he asked me over the phone why do I do this job when it makes me upset" Morgan asks" why would he ask you that" I say" it was the case of the missing kid, it got me thinking that I wouldn't know what I'd do if I lost either of our kids, so when he called my voice sounded upset" Morgan says" he's a smart kid but what'd you say to him when he asked you that" I said" I told him that there are somethings in this job that we can't control & what happens in the cases are what we can't control but the team  & seeing families unite are what keeps me doing this job" Morgan says" that's good, maybe you should take that break your talking about ,you & the little one need it" I say" I'll talk to Hotch tonight" Morgan says "good" I go up there to tuck Grayson in saying" get some rest tonight & tomorrow we'll go out " kissing Grayson good night I close his door going into my room calling Aaron saying" hey Aaron it's Emma can I talk to you about something" Aaron says" yea of course" I say" I would like to take a break from working, I need to be with Grayson" Aaron says"yea you can, you deserve the break more then anything" I say" thank you Aaron , but how can you do it ; being away from Jack all the time"Aaron says" I can do it because I know that by putting the UNSUBS away Jack lives in a safer place" I say" thank you Aaron , I appreciate it" Aaron says" your welcome" hanging I get in bed with Morgan saying" I'm getting the well deserved break I needed" Morgan says" good " falling asleep dreaming peacefully.
