"Okay, so you and Joe have made up. You and Byron are on better terms." Jackson said. "Take the job."

"I really want to, I do but being around Byron would be so hard." I said.

"You would live with Joe for a month, two tops." He said. "Then you wouldn't have to see Byron every day. Plus, you'll be working anyway. You've got how many classes left?"

"Eight." I said. "December first is my last one."

"Alexis, this works out perfectly." He said. "Just do it, you need this."

"I know, but it just feels weird."

"It feels weird because you're making it feel that way. Do this for you, not for anyone." He said. "Think of yourself. Take Byron out of the equation, what do you do?"

"I go," I said.

"There, you've made a decision." He said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"I'm one hundred percent sure." He smiled.

"Let me ponder on it until Friday, then I will make a decision." I said. "Friday is my deadline."

"Deal," He said, "Now I need to shower."

"You do kind of stink." I shrugged.

He shot me a dirty look and walked out of the room. I pulled my phone from my pocket and went on instagram. I saw that Byron had post a picture that Joe had take of him at IHop. I liked the picture and continued to scroll. I stopped on a picture that Joe posted of all of us smiling. He captioned it, "for once not one of us was forcing a smile."

I shook my head and liked it before closing Instagram. I looked out to the backyard and smiled.

It was kind of at that moment when I decided I wanted to go back to London. The first time I went to London and I didn't even know Byron. This time, I also had a very big job offer.

"Jackson!" I yelled and jumped up from the couch.

"What?" He asked and walked down the hall in only a towel.

"I'm doing it," I said.

"What?"

"I'm going to London." I said.

"Really?" He laughed.

"Yeah, I'm doing this."

"Call them," He laughed, "Take the damn job."

I laughed and pulled out my phone, calling the lady.

"Alexis?" I heard her.

"I'm taking the job." I said.

"I always knew you would." She said. "When can you start?"

"January," I said.

"Perfect, we'll set things up and send you details." She said.

I hung up and took to Jackson.

"I'm moving back to England." I laughed. "I have to go tell my mom."

"And Joe," He said.

"And Joe," I nodded and slid shoes on.

I grabbed my keys and hurried to my car. I sped to my mom's house and ran in.

"Mom?" I yelled. "Andrew? Joe?"

"Your mom and Andrew went to get food. Joe is in the shower." Byron said from the living room.

"When will they be back?" I asked.

"You just missed them, why?" He asked.

I smiled wide and looked down.

"I've had a job offer in London for over a year." I said. "I took it."

"You're coming back?" He asked.

"I'm coming back," I nodded.

"Hey lex," Joe said as he pulled a shirt on.

I ran over and hugged him.

"What's going on?"

"I took the job in London." I smiled.

"Seriously?" He asked and pulled away.

I nodded, "So about that extra room."

"It's yours for as long as you need it." He said.

"Thank you Joe." I smiled and hugged him tight.

"Of course," he replied. "When are you coming?"

"December after I finish my class." I replied and pulled back.

"Perfect," He smiled.

I looked over my shoulder at Byron who smiled at me. I smiled back, letting my heart flutter. We could stay friends, right?
