"Okay hold on." I laughed and pointed my drink at Daniel. "I need proof this happened."

"I think I still have the video." He smiled and pulled his phone out. I watched as he looked through his phone.

I took a sip of my drink, smiling at him.

"I found it," He laughed and handed the phone to me.

I watched the video as he lip sang to cheerleader while standing in front of mirror. I started laughing as I looked up at him.

"When was this?"

"Back in twenty fifteen." He smiled as I handed his phone back.

"That's great." I smiled.

"Do you want to go somewhere with me?" He asked.

"That depends on where we're going." I said and leaned forward.

"It's a secret but it's nowhere bad for you or the baby." He said. "I promise."

"Sure," I shrugged.

He grabbed my hand, pulling me up and out to his car. I slid in the front seat as he got in the driver's seat.

"Can I play music?" I smiled.

"Whatever you want," He nodded and handed me the aux cord.

I smiled and plugged it into my phone. I pressed shuffle and This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things by Taylor Swift came on.

"It was so nice throwing big parties. Jumping to the pool from the balcony, Everyone swimming in a champagne sea. And there are no rules when you show up here, bass beat rattling the chandelier. Feeling so Gatsby for that whole year," I sang along.

"So why'd you have to rain on my parade? I'm shaking my head. I'm locking the gates." Daniel sang to me.

"This is why we can't have nice things, darling because you break them. I had to take them away. This is why we can't have nice things, honey. Did you think I wouldn't hear all the things you said about me? This is why we can't have nice things." We sang together.

I let out a laugh as I looked at him, smiling while focused on the road. And I realized I liked this feeling. I liked getting to know other people. I liked the idea of having development. I liked the idea of not hating each other from the second we met. I just liked the idea of someone new I guess.

"What?" Daniel asked as he looked at me.

"Nothing," I smiled.

It fell silent as more Taylor Swift played. The next thirty or so minutes to the destination were peaceful.

"Okay, come on." Daniel smiled and got out of the car. He rushed around to my side and helped me out of the car.

"Thank you," I laughed, "She is just getting too big."

"You've got three more months." He smiled.

"Yeah," I nodded, "Now what's this surprise."

He grabbed my hand and began walking. It was a kind of wooded area, but the pretty kind of woods. I admired the sight of the orange leaves and the colored grass. It was October now, my favorite time of year really.

"Alright," Daniel said as we reached a flat area with no trees. "What do you think?"

I walked out further, looking over the view from the height that we were. I smiled and took a deep breath of the fresh air.

"It's pretty," I smiled and looked at him.

"I like it up here." He shrugged and took a step towards me. He grabbed both of my hands and smiled. "We've only just met a few months ago but I like being around you. I like it a lot, I like you a lot."

"Dido," I smiled.

"Can we make us a little more official?" He asked.

I smiled and looked up at him. I put my hand on his cheek, pulling his face towards mine and letting our lips connect.

----------------------------------------

"Wow, she's actually home." Joe laughed as he walked through the flat door.

I looked over at him and shook my head. I popped a sour cream and onion chip into my mouth as I paused the show I was watching.

"I have news." I smiled.

"You and Daniel are official?" He asked, pulling his jacket off.

"How'd you know?" I whined.

"Twitter, you're trending."

"What?" I asked.

"Someone saw you guys downtown getting ice and holding hands, then saw you guys kiss." He said.

I frowned, "I wanted to tell you."

"You're not worried about your fans? Or his fans?"

I shrugged, "You mean more to me than them. That's not saying that I don't love them with my whole heart, but you're kind of the person I want to make proud you know?"

He laughed, "you're getting emotional."

I sighed and fell back, "hormones."

"What are you watching?"

"The Vampire Diaries," I shrugged, "I'm on episode four and I'm bored but Daniel is in the originals and I wanted to understand what I'm watching."

"I never asked, how old is he?"

"Thirty six," I replied.

"He's older than me." Joe said.

"Why does that matter? We're adults."

"I don't know Alexis," He shook his head.

"It's my life." I said.

"You just said you wanted to make me proud."

"Well butt out of my relationship." I said.

"You just wanted to tell me all about it." He laughed.

"Well I don't anymore." I narrowed my eyes.

"You need to get that baby out of you." He laughed.

"You're going to have to wait three more months." I said.

"I hope she's a better version of you." He said and walked over.

He sat down on the couch, dropping his jacket to the floor. I let out a chuckle as I looked at him. That's when the door flew open and I saw Tyler walk in with Cole on his hip.

"Hey," I smiled and sat up.

"He couldn't sleep so I figured you could help." Tyler smiled and handed Cole to me.

"Hey buddy," I smiled at Cole. He giggled and poked my face. "You need to sleep."

I bounced him slightly as he leaned against me.

"So you and Daniel are official." Tyler smiled.

"Yes," I nodded.

"Are you happy?"

"Really happy," I replied and looked down at Cole who now had his eyes shut.
