"No," I scolded as I hit Jack's hand away from the cookies. "These are for tonight."

"I just wanted one." He laughed.

"If you don't leave this kitchen, I'm going to cut off your penis and cook it into a cookie and force you to eat it." I narrowed my eyes.

"And suddenly, I have to go." He said and walked out.

I smiled and grabbed the cookie pan, pushing it in the fridge.

"Alright, everything important has been shoved into your closet." Joe said.

"Still confused why you used my closet," I said.

"You're the strictest about people in your room." He shrugged.

"That's true." I nodded.

"We've brought beverages." Conor said as he walked through the door with a wagon. Josh walked behind him, pulling another wagon. Both we filled with alcoholic beverages.

"What about my soda?" I asked.

"Oh we have another wagons worth." Josh said.

"Unload your wagon and get it." Conor said.

"She's your girlfriend." Josh said.

"Exactly, now I need to help her." He said.

"Whatever," Josh scoffed and began unloading them.

"So what am I doing now?" Conor asked.

"I'm just waiting for the cupcakes." I shrugged.

"I need help," Joe said, "I have better speakers upstairs and they need to come down."

"Alright," Conor nodded.

He kissed my cheek and followed Joe.

"I thought you liked Byron." Josh said.

"What?" I asked.

"Well I thought that was the reason you came back, was for Byron."

"Byron had no effect on me coming back." I said. "Actually, he's the reason I'm trying to get out of this flat."

"No you mean Lindsay is." He said. "You had no intention of ever dating Conor, but now you are because of Lindsay."

"Lindsay is a gold digging bitch and has no effect on me." I said.

"Right," He said, "But it's obvious that Byron is still in love with you."

"Still?" I asked. "He never was."

"For a girl who has a bachelor's degree in accounting, you're kind of stupid." He said and walked out of the flat with an empty wagon. I looked over and saw Jack sitting on the couch.

"For once, everything that just came out his mouth was right." Jack said.

"You guys don't know what you're talking about." I said.

"You're just in denial." He shrugged. "You don't want to hurt anyone."

"You don't want to hurt my brother by breaking up with him. You don't want to hurt Joe by dating his best friend." He said. "But you're hurting yourself and Byron by not being honest."

"You're wrong," I said, "I'm happy and so is Byron."

"No you're not," He said and stood. "The sooner you figure that out, the better."

I watched as he walked out of the room. I let out a deep sigh, because everything they'd said was true.
