The Circus Is In Town!

Welcome to the first chapter of my coming back spree. It'll only be two or three chapters but hey, that's two or three chapters in this book. We all know that I make every one of my proper chapters at least 1000 words, normally more. Not to mention that they're all being released on the same day. Anyway, I'll stop annoying you with this Author Note and let you get into the chapter. Bye for now!~

Tanta POV

We just left the hotel we were in previously and are headed on our way to another town I think. Things have been getting a tad weird on this job but its been pretty normal for the most part. I've been following them for long distance so often that I have an ink cloud that appears when I call it now. My best guess would be that my dad sent it to me. He may be the most annoying and scariest person on earth, but he has his moments. I'm actually riding the cloud right now, if you couldn't te- Stop breaking the fourth wall, god dang it Tanta! That's two chapters in a row now, just stahp. Anyway, I'm just riding above the car, blending in with the actual clouds in the sky, so it isn't that easy to tell that I'm there.

Eventually, I see a gas station up ahead, signalling that the next town is still a while away, meaning that I can relax for once. I lay back on the cloud, my feet laying and inch from the edge and my head being supported by the pillow building up at the top of the cloud. I slowly managed to drift off to the land of darkness that rests in my head.

I'm quickly jerked awake when I feel my support from underneath vanish into thin air. I start falling straight at the ground with no way to stop myself. Instinctively I started screaming and I close my eyes, 'maybe this is it for me. Maybe the world decided that I'm not needed anymore either.' I prepare myself for the harsh impact of the ground.

I'm surprised when I feel something thats not ground hit my back. 'Its warm, like a body,' I think and when I open my eyes, I see that it is in fact a body. To be more specific, its Cuphead's body, his arms wrapped around me to keep me from falling to my demise. I widen my eyes in surprise and crawl out of his grasp. "Um, uh, thanks," I simply say, not knowing what else to say, I mean, what else could I say. "Yeah no problem, I was just wondering, why were you falling from the sky?" He asks, a totally valid question. "Right, well, I'm not entirely sure, I remember that I fell asleep, and the next thing I know is I'm not in my bed and I'm falling from the sky," I respond, it wasn't entirely a lie, "Ah," is all he says.

"That's so cool!" I hear Mug exclaim. "Um, well its not the coolest thing to be falling from a very high height to your possible death, just saying," I respond, 'its freaking terrifying!' I think. "Yeah, I guess that would make sense wouldn't it?" Mugman says, 'he really is a stupid little innocent cinnamon roll isn't he?' "Yes, it really would, now not to be rude or anything but we kinda gotta go," Cuphead says, clearly not really caring if he hurt my feelings or not. I just say "its fine, I have to get going as well anyway, bye then!~" and I walk away. I walk to a point they shouldn't be able to see me from and then I make my way back into the trees.

Once I make my way back to where the boys were, I see the town in the near distance. I then realized that, that must've been why my cloud disappeared, it was only my ride to this very town after all. I follow them into the town and they make it into the store I'm too lazy to check the name of. When they come bursting out the doors chasing a very special wolfie and demon, I know it would be pointless to anyway. They literally only spent like 30 seconds in the shop, not even. I quickly follow after them and see that the Cup bros manage to separate the other two brothers but into the end, fail to catch them.

This time I follow Bendy and Boris to see what they even do when they're not being chased around by two guys with cups for heads. They were Taking a pretty casual stroll, I mean, aside from the fact they're clearly mentally damaged, I understand though. If I was going through all that I'd be the same way, if not worse.
