Hot or Not

Selena's POV

I got home and got out of my light blue ruffled top, and high waisted white shorts. I took off my silver heels and put them on my shoe rack. I put on some grey leggings and an oversized darkwashed purple shirt.

I go into the kitchen to make myself a cup of herbal tea, and see that our maid is no where to be seen. "Linda?" I say out loud. The kettle starts whistling so I pour my tea into my mug and walk into the living room.

I go into the living room, and turn on the TV. As I put my mug down on the coffee table, I see a note from Linda.

Hey Selena,

I had a dentist apointment and won't be back until around six. If you get hungry, dinner is in the fridge.

Sincerely, Linda.

I simply nod as I put the note back on the table, and pick up my mug.

I watch the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars, as I sip my tea. I finish the episode and my tea, so I take my mug back to the sink, and head upstairs to change into some running clothes.

I go into my closet and put on some black leggings, with a white oversized t-shirt, and a pink sweater. I put on my pink trainers and tie my hair up into a messy bun. I grab my earbuds and phone and head out the back door.

I run around for about an hour, and then come back take a shower and eat the dinner in the fridge.

I sat on the kitchen table eating my vegetables when my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Sel! Guess What!"

"Taylor! What's up?"

"Check your school email!"

"Okay, Okay! I'll call you back!"

"Kay!"

I logged onto my school email, and scrolled through my emails. Party invites, cheerleading schedule, blah, blah, blah... HOMECOMING PRINCESSES NOMINATIONS! I opened that email and read just the stuff that caught my eye.

Attention Rosewood Academy students... Homecoming princess nominations will start next month! So get your picks ready!

You see, there's a couple of stages to winning homecoming princess.

1. Every student will choose 5 girls in the entire school whom they think should win homecoming.

2. The teachers pick the top 3 most picked girls, and then they would be the homecoming princesses.

3. At homecoming, one of the 3 girls will be crowned homecoming queen.

But obviously, I'm going to win since I am the most popular girl ever at Rosewood Academy! I picked up my phone and called Taylor back.

"OMG! I saw the email! Taylor we are going to be homecoming princesses!"

"I know! But it's obvious that you're going to win so no other girl should even bother!"

"No, let them bother! I like to see the disappointed looks on their faces when I win!"

"Hah! You're right! Hey, I'll call you later my phone is about to die!"

"Kay! Later, Tay!"

I press the end button on my screen, and go back to my computer. I decided to log onto 'Hot or Not'. It's an app that the students at my school made where they show you two pictures of different girls and students choose which one of those two is the prettiest. It's basically based off of popularity.

I logged on and the first two pictures that came up were me and Ariana. Haha. As if she had a chance. The comments were flooding!

"Totally Selena! She is wayy prettier!"

"Who would even think of comparing Sel and Ariana?! Selena all the way!"

"Wow! You see one half of the screen and all you see is a slut with red hair. You look at the other half and it's a total gorgeous girl with amazing hair!"

I smiled at all my compliments... And Ariana's insults. It's feel great to be in charge of things! People do what you want, guys want to date you, you get whatever you want! It's like royalty! I logged out and went back up to my room.

I pulled my hair back into a ponytail, and put some grey shorts with white lace. I checked my social media before going to bed. I went on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram before going under the covers. Before I closed my eyes though, I got a text. I picked up my phone and saw it was from Taylor. She sent me a picture of a screenshot that says, "Selena's Hot! Ariana's Not!"

Guys! I'm really sorry for these boring chapters but I just need something to start the drama. You know? So yeah I'm sorry!

Anyway, just on the last chapter I got like 5 comments. I never expected so many comments on one chapter so thank you so much! ❤️

Also, because I have to also update my other two books, this book won't have many fast updates unless I feel like in a writing mood. I'm not saying that I would be updating this like once a month, but like once every two weeks or so.
