1-A sleepover

Chapter 5: Nightly Scares

Deku's P.O.V

After a moment of silence Jirou stood up and walked over to the TV on the stand .

"Why don't we watch a movie?" She suggested shuffling  through the drawer of DVD's, " You know to simmer down a bit ." 

"That sounds nice! What movie are we gonna pick though?" Hagakure asked (honestly I forgot she was there).

"Hmm, why don't we put it to a vote? Everyone picks a choice and we use the process of elimination." Momo added earning nods from everyone. With that, those that wanted to choose a movie went up while those who were okay with anything stayed sitting. The only people who didn't vote were me, Tokoyami, and Iida. I was sitting because anything was fine with me, my guess for Tokoyami s that he just doesn't care and Iida couldn't find one he liked. All of the movies were sat in a row on the table getting murmurs all around. We had 16 movies to choose from, one fourth being Disney, one fourth being action, one being random, and one being my least favorite, horror. With each movie out, we knew who choose them. Tsuyu chose "Princess and the Frog" , Koda chose "Snow White", Aoyama chose a drag queen documentary, Denki chose a Pokemon movie, and weirdly enough Todoroki chose "The Little Mermaid" saying that " Ariel is a relate-able character.".

In the end we ended up picking a horror movie called "Sinister" despite some peoples complaints. With everyone huddled on the floor in front of the TV,  junk food in hands and covered in blankets. 

Despite all of the jump-scares so far this movie isn't so bad, its interesting with the patterns and mystery aspects. The only thing is... this whole movie I had Uraraka latched to my arm and Iida latched to my shoulder both gripping tighter on every jump-scare. Half way through the movie Uraraka ended up falling asleep earning a snicker from those around us, also surprisingly every time there was a jump-scare Kirishima would yelp, earning a laugh frog a few. The only issue was that whoever did laugh would get a death glare from Bakugou which is scary in of itself. 

When the movie got to a good pausing point, Momo stopped it so everyone could take bathroom breaks. Me on the other hand,I was stuck. After a moment of accepting my fate, I felt a tap on my shoulder, making me turn around to see Todoroki trying to hold back a smirk and failing.

"You uh, stuck there?" He asked crouching down to my level.

"Heh yea, she fell asleep half way through. I didn't wanna wake her up since she seemed scared of the movie. Plus, she seems peaceful." I reply with a chuckle shifting my glance. After a second he tapped her lightly on the shoulder causing her to stir.

"Hey Uraraka? You've kinda trapped Midoria, also were taking a little break from the movie so you can wake up now." He spoke softly giving a small smile. After a second of processing she quickly got up and apologized. She seemed kinda flustered when she walked away.

"Any idea what that was about? Weird..." I say getting up to stretch.

"Midoria, sometimes I question how somebody as smart as you, can be so dense at the same time." Todoroki sighed shaking his head as he walked away.

"Wait, what did I do?"

My summer was kinda busy and i was having awful writers block. i know this chapter isnt really my best but i felt like i needed to upload. ill probably edit it later on. also...
