He came back, he came back and held me. I slept better than I ever have in his arms.
"Morning beautiful." He says before kissing the top of my head
"Morning Rowan." I lookup at him and smile. He looks even sexier with his hair all messy from sleeping and his strong arms wrapped around me. I push him onto his back and climb on top of him straddling him. He rests his hands on my hips drawing circles with his thumbs, I lean down until my lips meet his and run my fingers through his hair. I can feel his excitement and roll my hips to grind against him, making him groan into my mouth
"Wait, wait, wait." He says pushing me back so I'm sat up on him again
"I'm sorry, what did I do wrong?" I ask looking down into his eyes
"Nothing, you've not done anything wrong Beautiful, I just think we should slow down." He says stroking my side
"You don't want me? Is it my scars? Or because I'm crazy?" I ask moving off of him and sitting with my legs crossed next to him.
"No, no Indigo, I definitely want you. You have no idea how hard it is to control myself right now. It's just after all you've been through I don't want to rush you. I don't want you to regret this. As soon as you're really ready, nothing will stop me." He says stroking my cheek. He pulls me to him and kisses me so softly
"Indigo, let's go, time for your meds. Open the fucking door." I hear my asshole cousin shout. I climb out of bed and open the door
"Here you go. Get dressed we're moving you into your new place today." He says leaning against the door. I swallow the pills and open my mouth for him to check before he turns and leaves
"Probably a good thing he didn't see me lying here half naked huh?" Rowan says smirking
"Shame it's only half." I say before walking off into the bathroom.
I'm home. Knuckles moved all my stuff across and I just finished unpacking everything. Everything has its place and I am organised. I turn on the sound system and sit on my new couch. The doors and windows are locked, the keys are around my neck and I'm safe. I don't have to worry about the 20+ strangers downstairs, it's only me. I feel my cell buzz in my pocket
Rowan: All settled Beautiful?
Indigo: Yes, I'm happy now, only thing missing is you. xx
Rowan: I'll see you in the morning don't worry. I'll always come back. xx
I smile as I put my cell phone on my new coffee table. Bullet and Knuckles had some 'club business' to handle tonight apparently along with a few of the other men.
I sit up and look around my new home, it's an open plan living and kitchen area with a bedroom and a bathroom at the back. I don't need to lock my bedroom door anymore because this is my home. My cell buzzes again and I smile only it's not Rowan
Cordelia: howdy neighbor, I'm only across the wildflowers if you need anything while the guys are gone.
I text back a quick thank you and lie back on my couch listening to the rock music I can play whenever I want now.
I shoot up from lying on the couch, I must've fallen asleep. I hear a loud bang followed by another and then shouting. I run over to the window and in the shadows I see people running. I unlock my door and creep around, keeping my back against the wall
"You better run you mother fuckers. Dumb fuckers come to poke Momma Bear huh? Well Momma Bear has a fucking Shotgun." I hear Cordelia scream as she fires her gun at the men, I see one of them drop to the ground and she howls with delight. The remaining men make it back to a pick up and speed away
"Indigo are you ok? They didn't attack your house too did they?" She says running over to me
"Am I ok? You're heavily pregnant and you just got attacked, are you ok?" I ask as she reaches me
"I'm fine darling, I love it when people think I'm weak and then I take them out." She says laughing
"Will you be alright? You can come and stay with me if you feel safer but I need to go and call Killer let him know." She says stroking my arm. Suddenly several men run up from the clubhouse
"Fuck, Cordelia are you ok? I heard gunshots." The first man says
"Doc I'm fine. The Devils Coyotes thought they could attack the presidents wife, they clearly don't know who killed the president of The Sons huh?" She says producing that evil laugh again. God I would kill to be confident and badass like her.
"Indigo, you coming with me?" She asks and I shake my head
"Ok, that's fine, go back inside and lock your door. This is Socket, trust me you'll be safe, he's going to sit on your porch in case they come back, but he won't come inside or bother you at all." She says patting another man on the shoulder, he seems to be about my age and has dark red hair and beard, he looks kinda scary. I nod and head back inside, locking the door behind me. I put my keys back around my neck and swiftly move to my bedroom. I'm safe in my bed. My cell buzzes again
"Indigo, are you ok? Tell me those fuckers didn't hurt you" Rowan says with panic in his voice
"I'm fine, they went after Cordelia not me. I'm in my bed and I've locked the door but there's a man called Socket sitting outside my door." I say trying to reassure him but my voice is shaky
"It's ok Beautiful, Socket is one of my brothers, you'll be ok. We're heading back now, I'll come straight to you." He replies. We reassure each other a few more times before reluctantly ending the call. He'll always come back, he promised.
