Keith loves how Lance always runs his fingers across his hair. It gives him a reminder that that goofball who also happens to be one heck of a sharpshooter is always there to comfort him and to care for him. There are days when it gets tough to forget the war...to act like any other teen of their age would act, but Lance always brings a smile to his face.
When they became a couple, things went slow. Their first kiss was so innocent that you could say it was more of a peck than an actual kiss. Lance was more flexible with being cheesy and giving Keith all of his affection and love, especially on days like this, when Keith looked like he was ready to snap but not quite. -Do you need anything?- Lance whispers sweetly on Keith's ear as he lays on his chest and enjoys the feeling of those tan fingers running across his head. -All I need is you hugging me and not going anywhere else...- Lance chuckles and starts laying little kisses on Keith's head
-Not even to go do my business on the bathroom, handsome~? - Keith gives a little frown and turns a little bit so he's able to look at Lance's eyes -No, you're trapped here with me for the rest of your life~ - Keith takes his hand to Lance's face and smiles sweetly at the tan boy who only smiles more and hugs him closer.
Both boys stayed there on the couch cuddling, now with Keith relaxed, Lance could ramble on and on on how complicated it was to collect those orbs for Coran, without mentioning how he almost got himself killed when they discovered a Galra fleet trying to build up their own camp on the planet. Keith also loves to listen, he thinks Lance has a way to soothe people with his voice, even if it gets annoying at times. Lance is unaware that one of Keith's biggest fears is to return one day to the castle and not seeing Lance there. Not being able to listen to his voice anymore...not being able to enjoy his jokes...or not being able to enjoy his soft fingers caressing his hair with all the time in the universe to sit and enjoy. Keith hid many things from his beloved...but deep down he knew he didn't need to worry so much.
Because after all, Lance wouldn't die....right?
