5pm hit as soon as Chris pulled up next to Rickys apartment complex. Before he got out, he reached forward to the passengers compartment and pulled out a big, yellow envelope.

"This is the contract. Read it carefully. Email me if you have any questions." Chris said.

"I told you, my computers down."

"Just consider it. Please." He pleaded.

He grabbed Ricky's hand and held it in both of his own, kissing his knuckles before letting Ricky get out of the car.

"I really hope you say yes." Chris smiled.

Ricky leaned over and kissed his cheek. He pressed the button to open the car door and the door flew upwards.

"Thanks for the ride."

"Laters baby." Chris said before Ricky shut the door.

Ricky walked in the front door of the complex and smiled as he heard Chris speed off down the street. The receptionist smirked at Ricky as he made his way to the elevator. He pressed his floor number and the door closed. The elevator ride took a lot longer than anticipated but it was still quick. He almost ran to his apartment door, excited to be home. In all honesty, he just wanted to read the contract already.

He unlocked his door, expecting to see Ryan on the couch watching Vikings or Rick and Morty. Instead he found a muscled tech guy typing away on, what looks to be, a MacBook Air.

"Alright it's all set. Your roommate let me in." The techie explained to Ricky.

"I just figured you forgot to tell me about it. Hey do I look okay?" Ryan asked.

Ricky just looked at the two with confusion written all over him. He slowly took his jacket off and laced it on the rack behind him.

"Tell you about what?" Ricky asked.

"Just sign here please."

The tech guy pushed a folder with Ricky's name on it with a pen in front of him.

"Hold on, do you have the right apartment?" Ricky asked once again.

"Richard Olson?"

He took the pen and signed the paper, only just realising who sent it.

Christopher goddamn Cerulli.

The guy took the clipboard back and said his goodbyes. He left the two in a slight shock and left Ricky in annoyance.

"Another gift huh? What happened to chocolate and flowers? I'm dying to hear what happened, but Vin and I are having dinner and then we're going to see a show at The Royal. Kuza called for you twice, by the way. Did the mail already come?" Ryan gestured to the envelope in Ricky's hand.

"Oh uh no, these are my thesis notes. I left them at school." Ricky lied.

"Oh alright, well there's yesterdays mail."

Ricky walked around the bench to where Ryan pointed and went through the mail. Ryan kept staring and smirking at Ricky, he found it slightly uncomfortable but he could deal with it.

"What?" He asked.

"I don't know. You look... different."

"It could be that fact that I'm wearing women's clothes and I look fucking bomb as fuck in them. Or that I look at lot more gay than I hoped and I look great."

"Of course you do. I'm gonna head though, or I'll be late." Ryan said, kissing Ricky's forehead before dashing out the door.

Ricky sighed, wondering what the hell he's going to do. He walked over to his brand new MacBook Air. He smiled to himself, thinking how lucky he is. He never wanted any of this, but yet he somehow got it for free instead of putting in the hard work to buy it. He almost felt guilty over it.

A ding from the laptop erupted him from his thoughts. An email from Chris came through. He must know that I have the laptop now, Ricky thought.
